• Managing the day-to-day activities of the department which includes Approvals, Rejection and Booking and maintenance.
• Providing MIS reports to the management and sales on the daily activities.

Retail Credit Underwriter
1. Evaluate credit proposals related to retail bank’s loan facilities for approval/rejection decisions within delegated authority and within turnaround time.
2. Liaise with Front end or branch staff for necessary additional documentation and/or verification required for satisfactory evaluation of Credit proposals.
3. Highlight and escalate relevant aspects of credit proposals to Head of Retail Credit for review in instances where such information materially affects the decisions. This should be either on the basis of pre-defined criteria or underwriter judgment in view of Credit proposal under review.
4. Highlight common trends observed in referred credit proposals to Head of Retail Credit to fine-tune policy
