1. Assess patient's needs, observe their response to interventions and to alert the physician accordingly.
2. Document in a timely manner all nursing actions and procedure.
3. Initiate and perform a range of nursing measures based on patient needs.

12. Utilize equipment, supplies and medications in a cost-effective, responsible manner.
