Responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective document control systems. Ensuring that all design documentation is accurate, up to date and accurately distributed to relevant parties.
Responsibilities
Coordinating all activities related to the Document Control procedure, including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
Input document data into the standard registers ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
Maintaining Master Deliverable Summery, Correspondences Register, Authority logs and control logs as required by the project.
Generating the various document control reports as required.
Controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are given to the appropriate staff, subcontractors and suppliers as applicable.
Maintaining updated records of all approved documents and drawings and their distribution clearly.
Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, Minutes of meetings, email & Transmittals from client, consultant and subcontractors.
Maintaining the documents and drawings in the Document Control office under safe custody without any damage or deterioration with easy traceability.
Coordinating & teaming up with other documentation groups.
Work in strict co-operation with the Project Manager to ensure project progress status integration.
Checking quality of documents and ensure all templates used with the department conform to the Company standard.
Preparing Documents for authority approval as per their requirements. (Ashghal, Kahramaa. MOI, etc...)
To maintaining high confidentiality of information and data of the company.
