Performing the general legal responsibilities (contentious and non-contentious), especially in the business of manufacturing, maintaining an importing/exporting petroleum equipment.
• According to my position as senior Legal Counsel; I manage, train and lead the legal team.
• To ensure proper and efficient legal practice, work flow and time saving, I established some policies and directions in the legal department.
• Drafting and reviewing kinds of contracts, discussing legal risks and carrying out legal negotiations with the counterparties that business relationship is to be established under the following agreements:
√ contracting and construction, √ facility management, √ local or overseas sales,
√ franchise, √ leases (commercial, residential and mall leases),
√ joint Ventures, √ outsourcing, √ NDA.
Achievements:
(1) I drafted comprehensive and very detailed standard contracting agreement to be used by our companies as an employer, either for specific project or long-term works like FM or PPM.
(2) I drafted the standard lease contract of City Center Mall, which has very special nature and deeply and comprehensively organizes all aspects of the lease relationship with tenants, such as legal, financial, operational, technical and commercial, etc.
• Participated in the preparation of the AGM and EGM of Aamal QPSC in 2018.
• Handling the litigation and arbitration by drawing up the dispute management strategy and handle all aspects of the lawsuits; such as: drafting statement of claim/appeal/defense and criminal complaints and meet court experts.
• Managing the pre-litigation stage with the company’s debtors and creditors, such as the legal communication like letters of demand, claims, notice of breach and notice of termination.
• Providing legal advices and plan of actions to the departments in their business, transactions and disputes.
• Following up the procedures of companies’ incorporation, sale of shares and liquidation.
• Advising on the internal employment matters and claims, e.g. investigations and terminations.

• Handling lawsuits distinctively under civil legislations such as civil, commercial, rental and employment laws.
• Drafting and revising agreements, such as franchise, supply, lease and sales.
• Providing legal advices in business transactions under various laws such as commercial, construction and civil.
• Serving legal notices of breach, termination, etc. on behalf of the firm’s clients.
* Achievement: Exclusively provided legal support to top tier business entities, such as Abu Issa Holding and Vision V Holding.
• Carrying our legal procedures before judicial and governmental entities, e.g. courts, Public Prosecution, police stations.
• Representing the firm’s clients before Rental Disputes Settlement Committees.
• Assisting senior associates by carrying out legal researches and fact collection and analysis.
• Translating legal documents.
Achievement: Participated in drafting the AOA of Qatar Stars League Management.
