• Quantity take off from the drawings as per specification and as per general engineering practice, as if any missing is there in the drawings, brought forward it to the Consultant’s attention.
• Receiving the quotations from the sub contractors and various specialized agencies.
• Identify and solve the discrepancies between the drawings, Specifications and other contract documents arising during the pre- tendering stage with the Consultants.
• Analyzing and Pricing the bill of quantity as per the current market rates and keeping the provision of escalation for the market rates.
• Liaison with the Management, taking management approval and finally submission of the Priced tender documents within the mentioned date and time in the Consultant office or in the Tender Board office
• Post Tender negotiation meetings for taking the job.

Job Profile: Pre and Post Contract Administration
• The responsibilities include overall programming and monitoring the progress, materials submittals, conducting weekly progress meetings with the Consultant and co-ordination meeting with the sub contractors.
• Liaison /correspondence with authorities/ Consultants, clients, Quantity Surveyors and Architects for interpretation of contract agreement and related documents.
• Dealing with setting out and initial Survey problems, establishing the plot boundaries and supervision of departmentally conducted earth work.
• Overseeing of Civil work, Plumbing, Firefighting, HVAC, Elevators, negotiation of rates and finalizing of terms till issue of the work order.
• Preparation and submission of the monthly cumulative bills/ Claim of work as per the terms and condition of the contract, as will as Approval and claims of variations.
• Managing the Construction Budgets, Preparation of Variation Applications and Change Order Management, agreeing with consultants,
• Certification of all subcontractors' bills after verification and recommending payments to the management.
• On site co- ordination with various sub contractors, clearing design issues with the management, liaison with various professional agencies and incorporating the consultant's requirements on the project.
• Project management: All round supervision of construction and complete management of the site staff.
• Material management and handling on site as will as procuring and selection of quality materials from different suppliers
