• To maintain, improve and strengthen safety department specifically in the health and safety aspect in accordance with standard.
• Generate security plans, deployment schedules, meal schedules and others schedules as needed
• Conducting safety induction for new recruits

• Keeping a record of permits issued on each day which is to be forwarded to Safety Manager
• Attend meetings with Management and conducts meeting with supervisors
• Assist and Investigate Accident/Incident to find out root cause and take part in Safety inspection, safety audit of construction with report submission
• Record all incidents in the appropriate format and write concise and accurate incident reports as necessary
• Conveying the points of risk assessment it to the work force through Foremen / Supervisors.
• Complete all security and administrative requirements
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly HSE reports
• Plays a key role in hazard identification and risk analysis in assign site at Marathon construction, Karachi
• Advises and assists Line Managers, Supervisors to ensure operations, practices and plant conditions comply with all Company policies,
• Assists Line Managers and Supervisors to provide regular audits of work permits. Reports results and tracks remedial actions until completed. Maintains link with offshore HES management and staff, and promotes safety and environmental culture at all levels. Co-operates with internal and external audit groups and assists as required. Manage and coordinate on shore emergency preparedness plans, drills and exercises, and assesses and reports performance.
• Provides emergency team support, leadership and training and participates as required.
• Reviews general safety and Company Emergency Response Plans to ensure statutory compliance and current application to practice.
• Acts as a focal point for all related incident & accident investigations providing support to investigation teams where required.
• Provides advice to Line Managers, Supervisors and Safety Representatives and attends to other special projects as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Performs gas tests for Confined Space Entry. Carries out safety equipment checks.
• Monitor and support all HES initiatives and key performance indicators with a view to achieving zero lost time incidents.
