Manage self and lead all the project team members such as QS, QA/QC, HSE, Stores, Site Engineers, Technical Engineers., Procurement Engineer, Purchase Officers etc.
•Well Knowledge and control for the Contract documents including the Subcontract agreement, IFC drawings, Specifications, BL program, As-built Drawings, Testing and Commissioning, Handing Over and Close Out processes.
•Reviewing and comparing the IFC documents with the tender documents, issuing the necessary RFI’s after reviewing the design for any technical issues.
•Develop a work program to complete the project within time allocated, within the approved budget.
•Establish and monitor all the necessary key performance indicators for critical MEP parameters and milestones on the project.
•Ability to establish and monitor tracking system for all influencing stake holders in the project
•Prepare all needed resources allocation plans to mobilize the staff and labors.
•Ensure that all specifications, and authority regulations are met and apply all engineering principles during the different project phases with the best construction practices.
•Maintain the Quality Assurance, Quality Control and HSE procedures for all the project elements that includes the Workmanship/ Material/ and the final product to the client.
•Maintain and Manage the Project important logs like: Stake Holders log, R&O logs, NCR’s, Procurement, Project Deliverables, and other logs necessary to control the project and deliver it successfully …etc.
•Manage and control the Payment Applications / Certifications from the client and maintaining the change orders tracking sheets with proper justifications.
•Manage and Coordinate the inhouse subcontractors working during the project.
•Report to client, consultant and main contractor about work progress and any necessary modifications required on site.
• Attend different meetings as required.
•Liaise with the Vendors/ suppliers for approvals, deliveries, etc.
•Liaise and coordinate for any 3rd party interfaces.
•MEP Value Engineering without compromising the quality or the level of the service.
•Apply the relevant company’s procedures and policies
Plan, monitor and manage execution of project to ensure on time - in budget - high quality project delivery to client
• Coordinate closely with Main Contractor to develop the project execution strategy and KPIs to monitor implementation of the same.
• Coordinate with PMO to finalize project costs, plans and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with PMO and HR to staff the project team in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with various project team members to finalize quality, cost, and time goals for project.
• Support PMO on studies and risk plans for project.
• Drive the engagement and management of team members and sub-contractors.
• Establish KPIs for team members and sub-contractors and monitor the same.
• Conduct routine project site inspections.
• Conduct regular project meetings with internal and external teams for project tracking and progress review.
• Closely monitor project metrics and follow up with relevant parties for corrective, preventive and defect repair actions.
• Review scope, schedule, quality and budget changes with client where necessitated. Ensure that change control system is implemented.
• Monitor the implementation of strategic initiatives in project activities and interface management.
• Expedite project operations by dealing directly with individuals and organizations involved
• Ensure achievement of time, quality, cost and HSE goals on project
• Ensure timely preparation of various progress reports on site
• Present reports to management and clients as required.
• Monitor and analyze reports on scope, quality, cost, and time to ensure that the project is on track.
• Coordinate meetings with project team to plan corrective, preventive and defect repair actions as required.
• Interface between Main Contractor and Consultant for monitoring work completions and payment issues etc.
• Monitor documentation for claims management
• Drive and manage internal and external relationships for effective and efficient achievement of project goals
• Provide updates to Main Contractor on all aspects of the project progress.
• Liaise with Main Contractor for critical decisions as required.
• Advise and direct the Main Contractor on contractual and technical matters related to our Sub-Contract.
• Manage the project technically and contractually.
• Take executive decisions as required during the course of the ongoing project.
• Be aware of contract terms between client and other parties and oversee compliance with clauses and requirements of these contracts.
