1- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annually financial statements ( Income statement, Balance sheet, Cash flow statement, Statement of equity)
2- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annually regulatory reports as per QCB requirements within the deadlines.
3-Responsible for implementing new regulatory requirements including analyzing and interpreting new rules and regulations, assessing reporting implications, designing and coordinating data collection processes and reporting templates, actively exploring report automation opportunities, communicating and providing guidance to finance units on new reporting requirements.
4- Prepare monthly Basel II, Basel III ( Parent, Consolidated) within the required deadlines.
5- Prepare the monthly new balance sheet as per QCB requirements (Parent, Consolidated).
6- Control the regulatory ratios on daily basis to ensure the compliance with QCB limits.
7- My role entails analyzing & forecasting the subsequent & expected events effects on the financial performance & the compliance with the regulatory requirements.
• Carry out the day to day operations of including posting of journal entries, preparation of Trial Balances and Financial Statements… etc.
• Prioritize in coordination with Manager, Financial Accounting payments, to suppliers/subcontractors.
• Verify the validity of payments included in the periodic payment runs against the necessary supporting documentation.
• Ensure the accuracy of Financial Statements and ongoing integrity of general ledger interfaces.
• Implement accounting system, procedures, and internal controls. Analyze transactions, determine accuracy, and ensure completeness and compliance to established policies and procedures.
• Prepare and generate, under the directions of the Manager, Financial Accounting, reports and statistics detailing financial results.
• Carry out month-end close including accounts analysis, financial statement preparation, department variance analysis, and corporate reporting.
• Coordinate with the internal and external auditors, and provide all required information to the concerned parties in order to facilitate the preparation of internal and external audit reports, respectively.
• Stay abreast of the latest applicable finance and accounting software and with respect to all other project consolidation related financial operations.
• Record all expenses incurred by all division/departments and projects in an accurate cost control report. Prepare variance analysis reports of budget versus actual recorded cost.
• Pass general and administrative related expense entries and process payments, payroll, General Ledger (GL) Accounts, accounting control, prepayments and accruals, fixed assets and depreciation.
• Assist the Manager, Financial Accounting in ensuring that the books of accounts are kept up-to-date and that accounting transactions are properly checked and reviewed to ensure accuracy of records.

• Responsible for the reconciliation of the cash account against the items in the general ledger.
