1. Responsible in managing minor work in order to support project team to smooth the progress of construction.
2. Main duties and tasks are facilities management, that necessarily to ensure buildings, systems, and equipment operate properly, safely, and efficiently.
3. Preparing and distributing procurement and disposal opportunities including invitations to tender, pre-qualification documents and invitations for expressions of interest.
4. As team member of technical evaluation.
5. Establishing safety and health management and identify the hazards in workplace to ensure work is performed safely.
Involved in developing 2300 acres Infrastructures projects for Medini Iskandar Malaysia, totaling more than RM700 million during this time. Projects included: construction road drainage, 7 unit 3 Tx bays PPU, 22- unit double chamber substation, Traffic light, Street Lighting, TELCO, HVAC, piping water reticulation, max size 1600mm, sewerage pipeline, Sewage Pumping Station and Utilities (500K PE of STP & 27.3ML suction tank, Booster Station and 54.6 ML Reservoir, Pumping Mains, Falling Mains and ancillary Works), fire water systems, water fountain and Landscape.
Job Description
• Scheduled meetings with local, state and federal Authorities and the general public to address any concerns about on-going or future projects.
• Attended and facilitated Preconstruction Conferences, Utility Coordination Meetings, and weekly meetings to discuss progress or concerns on projects.
• Meeting with Authorities such as SPAN, BOMBA, Ranhill SAJ, PUB, TNB, IWK, Telecom, TELCO, Marine. DOE, Pos Malaysia & JPS to ensure the compliance matter 100%fulfill to avoid project delay.
• Prepared bid packages including scope of work for project Request For Proposal. Assisted project engineer in the review and validation of bids received.
• Projected project budget costs and secured resources for overall project including labor materials, equipment and scope of work.
• Prepared & monitored schedules at all stages of project development and execution as may be required.
• Managed multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring that each one was completed on time and within budget.
• Managed the day-to-day operational aspects of the project. Providing ongoing technical support, MEP progress reports to the Client. Coordinated weekly meetings with senior management to report on project status and address any issues or concerns.
• Coordinated construction issue and handle discrepancies between construction drawing and actual site.
