Working as Group IT Manager at ACTS (www.acts-int.com), ACTS is the preferred third-party provider for Geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and consulting, and is the Local Sponsoring Group for the American Concrete Institute (ACI)’s programs in the Middle East.
The first consulting firm in our field in the Middle East to obtain the ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications, ACTS is the recognized representative of IHS, ASTM, BSI, IEEE and many other global standards development organization.
Set strategic planning and direction for new IT aspects and the new IT projects to the business
- Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure Lebanon, KSA and Qatar
- Provide primary management of IT service level agreements (SLA’s), ensuring that SLA’s are put in place across all IT operations, providing a clear documentation of what is expected from both parties and the routes of escalation. Additionally, ensuring the agreed services are delivered when and where they are supposed to be delivered, for both internal customers and also from those provided by external vendors.
- Execute the world known best practice in IT service management (ITIL).
- Establishes and maintains operational methods, procedures and facilities in assigned area of responsibility and reviews them regularly for effectiveness and efficiency.
- Creates and maintains a catalogue of available services.

- Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure.

-Establish SLAs with IT vendors and contractors and ensure compliance from all involved.
- Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
- Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly.
Responsible of IT solution for the company with more than 1000 employees.
Networking:
- Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure.
- Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company's infrastructure, and directs team when necessary.
- Oversees the administration of the company's network.
Training & Lab Maintenance:
Manages team oversee the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for company training programs and the Learning Studio and provides additional support if necessary.
Internal Systems:

- Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.

Asset Management:
- Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware and other IT supplies at the regional level.
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.

Responsible of Hotel Management software (Orassys system Monaco), 350 crew members and 800 passengers.
Day to day operation and backup of a domain controller windows server 2003, SQL server, ISA server, Cisco switching/routing configuration Voice-over-ip and Digital Entertainment System TV over IP (EONA system).
