Cladtech international is a cladding / glass factory, the glass factory is fully automated; using
Bystronic machinery controlled by a glass ERP (A+W with two modules ALCIB and
ALCIM) the aluminum factory is semi automated where automation is introduced gradualy.
My role is to establish the ICT department, infrastructure and systems for the factory, and to
develop the IT master plan, accomplishments:
• Establish the IT structure team the HQ and Saudi office
• Design and implement the temporary office network connecting the automated factory
• Design budgeting and tender the new office network
• Develop the ICT internal system to track task, assets and expenses
• Develop the store inventory systems and accounting reports
• Develop sales tracking system
• Develop custom attendance system
• Develop small payroll system
• Preparing and organizing the company procedures identifying automation areas to
reduce the gap between system and business.
• Planning the ERP implementation (Steering committee, coordination, champions
teams, training and awareness)
The assigned role is to establish the IT infrastructure passive and active and establish the IT strategic development / implementation plan in coordination with the stakeholder visions of RAKEEN, tackle automation areas and find solutions that suite RAKEEN line of business and operation.
In addition I was responsible for implementing GIS standards and data structure for future implementation, data analysis surface / contour generation, GIS 3D modeling

Time Attendance system
Management, design, and implemented RAKEEN time attendance client/server based system; I ran system testing and configuration / fine tuning. I guided end user acceptance test, before the system final run.

Application/file sharing server and backup solution
Management, design, and implemented application/file sharing server based on Ms Windows 2003 server to handle future based applications I organized RAKEEN file structure, and implemented backup solution based on VERITAS backup solution.

RAKEEN‘s new building networking project.
I was responsible for issuing of the RFP and specifications for the new RAKEEN’s building data and voice network, and the project management and supervision.
I was involved in the implementation of an Internal Map Server for the Firm, aiming at providing a better understanding of the data availability within the company. The system is based on ARCSDE, ARCIMS, Microsoft SQL and Internet Information Server.

The project scope is to implement an internal map server for Dar Al Handasa. The system will serve the company data in order to provide a better understanding of data availability within the company. The system will be based on ARCSDE, ARCIMS, Microsoft SQL, and Internet Information server.
Work on GIS/Remote Sensing project for Dar project using ARCINFO 8.x, 9.x and ERDAS Imagine 8.6. The main role was to support Dar al Handasah engineering projects with the best technology available.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of Litany project GIS System. The system will be based on ARCSDE 8.2, Microsoft SQL Enterprise Edition, and ARCINFO 8.2. The applications will be developed using COM Automation/ActiveX Objects technology, the language Visual Basic. The platform will be Microsoft Windows 2000 Server.

LibanCell Customer Complaints:
I was responsible for the design and implementation of the LibanCell customer Complaint System, based on based on ARCIMS and ‘Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) as servers. The application was developed using, ASP (vbscript and jscript), and ARCXML. This application was aimed to manage and track the coverage complaints arriving to LibanCell, this application give a powerful Geographical analysis tools for coverage complaints.

LibanCell Vehicle Tracking:
I was responsible for the design and implementation for the Vehicle tracking application, for LibanCell Telecom, based on ARCIMS and ‘Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) as servers. The application was developed using Java, ASP (vbscript and jscript), and ARCXML. This application is currently used to help LibanCelL customers to track their fleet geographical in real time.
I joined the SABRE Group Bahrain as a Senior Consultant II. SABRE Group is the IT outsourcing company for Gulf Air. My major task at the beginning was to fix Y2K problem in the marketing database. The second task was to shift the legacy system to the newly implemented ones and make the smooth functional and operational transition.

Y2K Project for GulfAir; this project consisted on upgrading most GulfAir Marketing Database /applications (MAPS, SMS) to be Y2K Compliant. The RDBMS was Informix and the platform was a UNIX Solaris Platform. I lead database administering and developing/supporting decision support applications (MAPS, SMS) used by GULF AIR marketing department. The development languages were C, C++, and 4GL.

Oman Road Network:
Design and Implementation of Sultanate of Oman road network GIS Database with the Ministry of Communications using ARC/INFO. The project consisted of generating the road maps and using Dynamic Segmentation to bring ORACLE Databases into the maps as events on the road map routing system.

GISEL Project
I was Involvement in the database design and implementation of Lebanon base maps scale 1:100000 for Electricity of Lebanon (EDL) project. The project Involved digitizing the project involved digitizing roads, rivers, vegetation, towns, and some elevation points. In addition, Direct involvement in the QA/QC of the above themes, and the developing of cartographic application using SML, AML. Furthermore, I developed several cartographic outputs for EDL.
