Zakum West Super Complex (offshore facility) is located in the central part of the Arabian Gulf about 65kms north-west of Abu Dhabi, where oil is gathered and then pumped directly via a 90kms long subsea pipeline to the oil processing and export terminal at Das Island.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities in Oil &Gas Production and Water Injection Platform (offshore facility):-
 Carrying out day to day preventive, corrective, break down maintenance activities on well head towers(oil/gas &water), it includes well head control panels &field instrumentation, valves(DHV, SSV, WV &Choke), SCADA, Remote Terminal Unit, Solar Power System, Array/Cells, Charger, batteries, & related field instrumentation based on process equipments(test separator &CIP Skid -William Milton Roy).
 Performing function test and online trouble shooting on field instrumentation, control systems and valves based on Well head towers (oil/gas &water), Well Head Control Systems, Process and Utility platforms, Water Injection Platform, Collector Separator Platform, Gas Gathering &Compression Platform, Gas Injection Platform, Riser Platform and Gas Processing Platform.
 Complete overhauling and testing of the well head control panel modules (HPU, WCM, SLVM) and associated field instruments(hydraulic pumps-Haskell) in the workshop with the logic involved with the well control panel.
 Investigates diagnosis and recommends to Supervisor preventive action to avoid future occurrences.etc. Informs Supervisor on faults, required repair, spares and general improvements of the system.
