Zakum West Super Complex (offshore facility) is located in the central part of the Arabian Gulf about 65kms north-west of Abu Dhabi, where oil is gathered and then pumped directly via a 90kms long subsea pipeline to the oil processing and export terminal at Das Island.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities in Oil &Gas Production and Water Injection Platform (offshore facility):-
Carrying out day to day preventive, corrective, break down maintenance activities on well head towers(oil/gas &water), it includes well head control panels &field instrumentation, valves(DHV, SSV, WV &Choke), SCADA, Remote Terminal Unit, Solar Power System, Array/Cells, Charger, batteries, & related field instrumentation based on process equipments(test separator &CIP Skid -William Milton Roy).
Performing function test and online trouble shooting on field instrumentation, control systems and valves based on Well head towers (oil/gas &water), Well Head Control Systems, Process and Utility platforms, Water Injection Platform, Collector Separator Platform, Gas Gathering &Compression Platform, Gas Injection Platform, Riser Platform and Gas Processing Platform.
Complete overhauling and testing of the well head control panel modules (HPU, WCM, SLVM) and associated field instruments(hydraulic pumps-Haskell) in the workshop with the logic involved with the well control panel.
Investigates diagnosis and recommends to Supervisor preventive action to avoid future occurrences.etc. Informs Supervisor on faults, required repair, spares and general improvements of the system.
New Field Operation Division (Nasr &Ummlulu-Construction and Pre-Commissioning Phase- I):-
Have attended Factory Acceptance Test for Well Head Control Panels at the Vendors location (Dubai) and Site Acceptance Test at the EPC Site (Sohar-Oman) for field instrumentation and related control system.
To review the technical specification, drawings, test procedures and witnessing the field(SAT) test for the mechanical &electrical equipments, control systems, field instruments and associated devices along with “AMEC”(consultancy)using ADMA’s OPCO Standards, Guidelines & Procedures, Project Job Specification, HSE regulation procedures, &associated vendor documents for Well Head Control Panel(Petronash-UAE), Close &Open Drain System(Gommes &Clyde Union-USA), Chemical Injection Skids(Frames-USA), Navigational Aid System(IMT B.V- Netherland), Multiphase flow meter(Schlumberger-Germany &Haimo-China), Multiport Selector Manifold(Emerson-USA), Solar Power System/Battery Charger &Bird Deterrent System(TSS4U-Netherland), Choke Valves(Master flow-Canada), Pig Receiver/Launcher(TD Williamson &FAI-USA) &S/w as Win Registration-PRO-103, PSV and Restriction Orifice(Farris-USA), EOT Crane(Italkrane-Italy), Corrosion Coupons(Cosasco-USA), Local Starter Panel(Stahl-Germany), Locked Open Block Valves & Mechanical Interlock(Nether lock-Netherland), Single Smart Completion Well &Single Completion Wells, Smart Vessel.

-> To review all the project mark up drawings.
To review &advice Spare Parts Interchangeability Record (SPIR) as submitted by the Vendors’ and Contractors and capturing this data as the basic spare parts documentation for the project (company’s stock).This SPIR covers all the mechanical &electrical equipments, field instrumentation &control system required for Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, two (2) years operating spare parts of continuous operation and insurance spare parts for the critical equipment and instruments.
Instrument and Control Supervisor (Maintenance-Oct 2010 to Sep 2012)
• Supervising, Planning and directing the activities of the PWC group including the preparation of
Major and Minor shutdown planning and arranging Direct Charge materials of MM (Major
Maintenance), EOM (Extra Ordinary Maintenance) and Capital items.
• To review the periodic job and shutdown plans and integrate it with other section plans for execution.
• Raising direct charge PR's/PFS for non-stock items, spares, consumables, standard tools,
calibration equipment and service PRs for repairable items and co-coordinating &following up with Material Management Department to ensure required materials/equipments are met on time.

Lead Instrumentation Technician (Maintenance-Oct 2006 to Oct 2010):
• Employed as a Lead Instrument Technician which has a NGL production capacity of around 50, 000 metric tons of NGL/day.
• Receives maintenance work orders and repair work requests, determines priorities in conjunction with line supervisor, identified and orders required materials, spares and equipment, liaises with operations.
