Managing a 4-person FP&A and Investments function, as part of Corporate office for the Al-Futtaim Retail division covering IKEA, ACE, Marks & Spencer, Toys R Us, AF Watches and Jewelry, Reebok ME, Royal Sporting House, Robinsons and other leading Fashion Brands in MENA region and South-east Asia
•Monthly MIS and Forecasts consolidation (P&L, Balance Sheet, Multi-currency Cash flow analysis)
•Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecasts and Strategic Plans
•Business insights and analytics (Stores performance, Malls, Inventory optimization, regional performance)
•Feasibility studies for acquisition of new brands/businesses or launch of new stores/concepts at various malls/stand-alone

Reporting to the Division Managing Director to strategically manage the Operations Department. Provide strong internal leadership and responsible for the level of services offered by the company
•P&L responsibility for Fleet Operations and Workshop facilities
•Lease and Rental fleet review and recommendation, Fleet Purchases and allocation
•Review and recommend workshops for Fleet Repairs and parts supplies
•Ensure compliance with RTA rules and regulations for Vehicle Leasing, Rental, School transportation and other services
•Manage relationships with relevant authorities
Reporting to the Group Finance Director - Automotive Division. Comprehensive business, Financial Planning & Analysis, Commercial and MIS support to entities within the Automotive division.
Provide expertise in the field of Financial Analysis, problem detection, performance monitoring, Advisory support, subject matter expertise and support division-wide policies to ensure best practice is followed consistently.
•Provide insights on operational performance to Group Head-office and Business vide robust Reporting and Analysis for automotive entities. Drive Key working capital KPI objectives, free cash flow actualisation against Budget and stakeholder expectations.
•Capital Expenditure evaluation and recommendation - Critical review, assess and recommend feasibility for new showrooms. Assist business units in obtaining required approvals and implement monitoring mechanism.
•Review and strengthen Internal controls and procedures. Implementation of Delegation of Authority (DOA) and provide leadership on process and governance.
•Provide guidance and direction in setting up accounting/financial policies for existing business expansions, acquisitions ensuring integration with Al-Futtaim Group policies and procedures.
•Provide support in finalisation of divisional Budget & Reviews and effective presentation and execution of approved budgets.
•Standardise treasury management, review of banking facilities, and support entities for cost-effective funding through Group Treasury.

Reporting to the Manager - Financial Reporting. Ensuring timely reporting for DSOA and its subsidiaries' in compliance with approved policies, procedures and applicable IFRS
•Prepare financial reports to meet management reporting requirements and other of periodic financial statements as per established governance, statutory and regulatory requirements.
•Ensure compliance with international financial and accounting standards (IFRS), rules and regulations.
•Responsible for accounting and reconciliation of all general accounting transactions for DSOA and its subsidiaries.

•Coordinate, develop and update written policies and procedures over the financial reporting process
Reporting to the Finance Manager (FM), responsible for Management reporting with strong focus on business support and analysis.
•Prepared, analyzed and presented monthly and annual Profit and Loss Statements, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and other related schedules including key variances and commentaries.
•Produced detailed management accounts packs for the monthly Board meetings.
•Conducted Working Capital analysis, Costs and Revenue analysis, KPI analysis, Segmental performance reports.
•Collated and submitted requisite High-level information to Group Finance & Group Treasury departments, in the prescribed formats, required for inclusion in the Group Director’s and CEO’s reports
•Collated and produced the Annual Budgets, Quarterly Budget Reviews, Business Plans for new initiatives, Forward Plans and periodical forecasts.
•Budget presentation in power-point with Financials, SWOT analysis, Executive summary, charts and tables.

•ADHOC MIS reports to analyze and interpret financial numerical data and evaluate alternative courses of action.
•Developed Model-wise Vehicle Profitability Report, Dash Board Reports for Leasing, Rental Operations, Fleet operations & Fleet Maintenance departments.
•Evaluated, tested and explored Information Management Systems from Accounts/Finance function’s perspective and contributed to its development. Key role in implementation of CARPRO (Front-end Car Rental & Leasing software) and SAP interface
