The Accountabilities:

Position reported to the Manager - Mechanical Design


Design and Development:-


• To develop mechanical designs for panels using Pro/E Wildfire-2 and AutoCAD.
• Re-engineer existing panel designs to optimize solutions.
• Design internal layouts of modules.
• Design and development of new components as per the customer requirements.
• To prepare 3D models and assemblies according to the customer specification.
• Design and Development of non standard enclosures as per the customer requirements
• To making the panel accessories for LV and MV panels.
• Mechanical drawing preparation, making BOM and to release to fabrication & assembly shop floor for production.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams and interact with clients for development feedback.
• Coordinate with shop floor for smooth processing of projects.
• Support sales team by developing non-standard products features.
• Trouble shooting of design issues on shop floor.
• Making the CNC programming using AP100 software in absence of programmer.
• Maintaining ISO documents of projects and the mechanical drawings as per ISO requirements.
• Maintaining Design Records. (Drawing files, Daily activity reports etc.)


Techno-Commercial:-

• Cost Estimation - Various types of Enclosures and its components.
• Review of client’s specifications and analyze the method of process and calculate man-machine hr’s and material take off from the drawing and specification for the materials.
• To prepare the weekly enquiry reports.
• Maintaining Technical Record’s.

The Accountabilities:

Position reported to the Vice President, with primary responsibilities for managing the 6 Engineers.


Design and Development:-

• Design and Development of sheetmetal and Signage products as per the customer requirements using Pro/E Wildfire-2 and AutoCAD.
• To prepare 3D models and assemblies according to the Customer specifications.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams and interact with clients for development feedback.
• Developing prototypes and interact with Inspection department for inspection of prototypes.
• Conducting tests and assembly of developed components.
• Arranging for the customer approval process.
• Release drawings for the Production after completion of prototype and install prototypes.
• Attended and resolving the Customer complaints, Cars, Etc.
• Undertaking visits to vendor/suppliers for design and development issues.



Techno-Commercial:-

• Cost Estimation - Mechanical fabricated equipments in house, Erection, Commissioning, Civil, Electrical’s, etc.
• Interact with the client’s for Techno-Commercial aspects.
• Preparation of Technical and Commercial proposal against tender’s received from the various client’s.
• Review of client’s specifications and analyze the method of process and calculate man-machine hr’s and material take off from the drawing and specification for the materials.
• Analyze and evaluate the scope of work after the receipt of the P.O. from the customer.
• To prepare the weekly enquiry reports.
• Sending enquiries of varies items to the Vendor’s / Contractor’s.
• Preparation of specifications, drawings, etc. for invitation of sub-contractor’s offers.
• Negotiation with Vendor’s / Contractor’s.
• Prepare extra claims for additional scope of work & intimate to marketing department.
• Evaluations of contractor’s extra claims and prepare the justification.

• Maintaining Design Record’s. (Drawing files, ISO document file of Design department, etc.)

• Aided modifications in design and development of FLP/WP On/OFF Push button station.
• Design and development of FLP/WP Clean room lighting fitting.
