As a Merchandise Managers im responsible to:-
-Manage the suppliers and develop buying strategy in a competitive manner in order to enhance the overall profitability.
-Ensure quality suppliers throughout the operation.
-Negotiate best purchasing terms including rebate and promotions.
-Assist the Marketing and Sourcing Manager, Store Managers, and key department Managers by effectively communicating and coordinating the buying process.

As a section manager, I’m responsible for the day-to-day running of the section. The main focus is improving the commercial performance of the section by increasing its turnover, maximizing sales & providing customers with a positive shopping experience.

Tasks:-
o Managing and motivating my team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
o Keeping track of stock and ordering schedule.
o Organizing sales promotions and in-store events.
o Organizing special promotions, displays and events.
o Serving customers when required.
o Dealing with queries, complaints and feedback from customers
o Maintaining awareness of market trends and monitoring what competitors are doing.
o Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and Identifying or resolving urgent issues.
o Controlling budgets and costs.
o Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
o Providing reports to my senior’s company executives.
o Using information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
o Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
o Resolving health and safety, legal and security issues

o Responsible for the Recruitment Cycle.
o Receive the job applications or CVs submitted from (Walk-in, e-mails, faxes, and referrals).
o Build CV Bank: classify and screen CVs/Applications in order to build candidate pools and store in database for retrieval as and when required.
o Receives approved hiring requests, Contact short listed candidates, conduct phone screening investigation, conduct proper testing according to requirements, conduct initial interviews, and coordinates with concerned department heads to schedule technical interviews.

General Responsibilities:
o Identify and develop business opportunities for the Company’s creative solutions in industrial and product designs as well as the Company’s creativity services.
o Prepares the annual Business Development Plan; as well as prepares the annual Work Plan.
o Lead and develop staff by identifying training needs.


RECRUITMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
o Responsible for the Recruitment Cycle.
o Receive the job applications or CVs submitted from (Walk-in, e-mails, faxes, and referrals).
o Build CV Bank: classify and screen CVs/Applications in order to build candidate pools and store in database for retrieval as and when required.
o Receives approved hiring requests, Contact short listed candidates, conduct phone screening investigation, conduct proper testing according to requirements, conduct initial interviews, and coordinates with concerned department heads to schedule technical interviews.
o Receive work papers from the new hires and sign the work contract with them.
o Conducting new hires orientation.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
o Conduct exit interview with the resigned employees.
o Prepare and update job descriptions for all positions.
o Renew employees’ contracts and follow up their attendance.

o Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies.
o Liaising with colleagues and key spokespeople.
o Liaising with and answering inquiries from individuals and other organizations, often via telephone and email.
o Collating and analyzing media coverage.
o Writing and editing speeches, and annual reports.
o Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs.
o Commissioning market research.
o Managing the PR aspect of a potential crisis situation.
