* Analyze, Review, Evaluate and Negotiate all received proposals and quotations for all invited bidders including coordination with all related departments
* Monitor and Control the Inventory for all the packaging materials related to the Meat Processing Plant and the Slaughter house including studying the storage capacity, planning the delivery schedule sent to suppliers based on Production plans and Export orders to ensure the availability of the material before enough time to be able to process the production smoothly.
* Coordinate with the store keepers located in the plant for receiving the material and evaluate the inventory every 3 months by detailed report showing the slow/non moving items with explanations for such cases.
* Work closely with the Marketing and Sales departments on improving the packaging of products and launching new items in the market.
* Conducting a commercial and technical evaluation and performs price analysis.
* Sourcing, selecting and negotiating for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers and sub-contractors assigned.
* Achieving optimum cost while ensuring high level of quality/service and the respect of delivery targets.
* Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures and making all the requirements with respect to shipping, insurance, wire transfer and Letter of credit.
* Ensuring competent quality execution and monitoring of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
* Handling and monitoring of claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts.
* Evaluating suppliers based on cost, quality, service, availability, reliability, and selection variety.
* Working closely with Technical Department, Quality Control Department and Finance Department to lesson rejections, losses and returns of materials.
* Responsible for Purchasing all the Packaging Material related to the Meat Processing Plant, Slaughter House, Feed Mill and the Hatchery located in Kerak
* Preparing and issuing Request for Quotation (RFQ) ensuring that the necessary scope of work outlining what is required.
* Following up the clearance of shipments
* Following up the samples requested by R&D Department
* Planning and managing inventory levels of materials.
- Responsible for Purchasing Raw Material, Packaging material, Lab needs and consumables for the Pesticides and the Veterinary Factories.
- Converting a procurement requisition into a Request for Quote or Proposal and issue to selected vendors.
- Receiving quotes or proposals and selecting the procurement source for the items
- Negotiating a contract and converting the RFQ to a purchase order.
- Raising purchase orders in accordance with the time scale required for the Sales order contract.
- Maintaining accurate, current, retrievable records.
- Interacting with the traders, manufacturers and indenting agents, negotiating the best prices and following up with timely delivery is vital
- Providing pre-sale and post-sale technical support for products to customers and representatives, comprehend customer needs and convert these into professional written quotations offering the best fit technical solution to meet needs
- Following up the business with customers through negotiating the prices with the suppliers, and working closely with customer’s counterparts to close sales.
- Keeping track of market share for the whole product range in order to identify and pursue new business prospects
- Working in sales for Filtration department, following up with customers on periodical visits, making offers, purchase orders, developing a practical experience of direct interaction with customers, widening the market through contacting new probable customers
