• Part of the pre-opening Sales team of the hotel, reporting to DOSM. Spearheaded entire set up of the sales department including SOP’s, sales strategies, contracting, budgeting, market segmentation etc.

• Executed the property sales plan and liaised with the property executive committee in the preparation of yearly sales plan
Build the department top line revenue from Room Sales and Banquets of the hotel by adhering to sales strategy guidelines set forth by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Identifies revenue opportunities for the hotel based on the event profile.
Meeting and exceeding individual revenue goals. Effectively managing customer budgets to maximize revenue and meet customer needs, and identify opportunities to up-sell products and services throughout the sales process.
Excelling at proactive selling. Targeting key accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation. Proactively identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new business to achieve personal and hotel revenue goals.
Developing new leads and researching new business potential within the assigned Corporate market Segment. Qualify business opportunities and adhere to established selling strategy.
" Handling reservations of an inventory of 1331 rooms across three properties of Citymax Hotels- Bur Dubai: 693 rooms, Al Barsha: 378 rooms and Sharjah: 260 rooms
" Present product to guests with the utmost integrity, effectiveness, professionalism and consistency of established sales policies and procedure.
" Successfully reach and maintain goals as outlined in our sales performance SOP's including, but not limited to efficiency, net closing, sales volume, net sales balance, owner service, team support and point of sale referral leads.
" Remain up to date with all the promotions in and around the hotel and follow established procedures to process all room reservations, rates, confirmations, hotel facilities, etc
" Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and apply rate management and harness cross sales opportunities.
" Maintain established filing system for all correspondence and collate reports as required by Reservation Manager and Director of Revenue management
" Organize visa request for hotel guest as per hotel policy and up-sell whenever an opportunity is identified
" Proficient in hospitality management systems such as MICROS, OPERA, FIDELIO, DELPHI and other Revenue Management related software and M.S. office applications like spreadsheet, word processor and presentation module.
" Ensuring that the restaurants operate efficiently and effectively within the companys fiscal and operational guidelines.
" Ensuring that all reservations for guests are controlled, including table assignments, section assignments, timely seating.
" Suggesting methods and/or changes in order to maximum guest service and club profits.
" Assisting in all phases of planning, budgeting analysis, and reporting relating to the operation as well as controls account expenditures and obtaining maximum utilization of account resources.
" Conducting Training of service staff.
