Responsibilities:
1. Prepare journal entries.
2. Complete general ledger operations.
3. Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements.
4. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
5. Draw up monthly financial reports.
6. Prepare analysis of accounts as requested.
7. Assist with year end closings.
8. Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable.
9. Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts.
10. Assist with payroll administration.
Reporting directly to the general manager
1. Primary responsibility is to prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
according to
monthly close schedule
2. Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures 3. Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately
on a monthly basis.
4. Prepare monthly account reconciliations
5. Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
6. Assist with financial and audits
7. Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
8. Assist with quarterly producer commission reports; analyzing and correcting
discrepancies
9. Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
10. Other projects as assigned
