1. Develop a product strategy and business case for each product within her/ his portfolio and ensure they meet the strategic objectives of GET Group.
2. Responsible for collecting information on customer needs and technology trends in the target sectors and compile a report showcasing a complete understanding of competitor offerings, including pricing and technology trends.
3. Develop an exhaustive SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis for each product to identify necessary improvements.
4. Build and maintain IT Solutions’ product value proposition. Manage product profitability through proposing product price guidelines to the Director of Product Development & Marketing.
5. Evaluate new product development or change requests in terms of added value. Recommend selectively to the Director of Product Development & Marketing any requests for developments and/or enhancements.
6. Educate the client and local partners about GET Software solutions through presentations, marketing materials, site visits, etc.
7. Support sales processes by providing assistance with product-related technical aspects of proposals/ presentations.
8. Plan demos based on Regional Sales Managers requests.
9. Support the development of RFI/RFP response by proposing prices for all components (software license, hardware, implementation…). Propose the most appropriate pricing scheme to be adopted - all in fee, recurring license fee, transaction based fee.
10. Identify requirements of HW components, shortlist potential suppliers, and prepare agreements.
11. Identify potential channel distribution partners and take steps needed to formalize the relationship. Obtain software certification by the channel partner. Support the Director of Sales in the business development efforts with the channel distribution partner.
12. Lead Marketing and Corporate Branding on preparing marketing materials, updating GET website and planning of special events.
13. Perform any other related job duties as requested by direct supervisor or as per the process framework, finance or commitment authority delegation matrix.
1-To manage and direct R&D division research and development programs to meet division needs and to capitalize on potential new products.
2-To plan and strategically develop “Products” and “Markets” for the IT solutions business
3-Participates in preparing the annual R&D department for the IT Division budget plan, ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategies, and submits to the R&D Manager for review and final approval.
4-Participates in preparing the policies & procedures manual for the R&D department, and ensures their ongoing implementation
5-Participates in preparing the yearly required R&D department training plans and communicates it the HR & Administration Department to incorporate in the Company training Plan.
6-Studies R&D projects nature and resources capabilities to define or allocate resources to the projects.
7-Establishes and develops relationships with vendors, suppliers and manufacturers to enhance GET product offering.
8-Understands the future market needs and research new technologies that keep GET ahead of competitors. Coordinate and run brainstorming sessions with formulated team to generate action-plans for fulfilling business requirements.
9-Assists marketing and business development department in technical market research.
10-Acts as a technical consultant for hardware, systems, and application software for GET’s technical staff by providing them with the required tools and methodologies.
11-Supervises R&D activities to ensure that current projects are conducted in accordance with firm standards and completed on-time within budget limits.
12-Manages and conducts knowledge transfer sessions on new technologies sessions to the technical team
13-Conducts performance appraisals sessions of his direct report in due time.
14-Approve and follow-up implementation of training and development plans for department staff.
My Roles & Responsibilities as Program Manager:-
1 -Assign CM roles (CCs, CM tool administrators for the program and projects after discussion With SW/HW managers and the assigned projects managers
2-Request from the SW/HW Manager the assignment of SW/HW project Manager and from the QA Manager the assignment of QA specialist, Metrics coordinator and CM Auditor
3-Prepare the Program Management Plan and the supporting plans (RSKMP, MAP and V&V plan)
4-Prepare the Program team assignment form
6- Review & Approve the Program CMP
7-Prepare Needed Resources Request when needed
8-Review the project(s) planning work products and update those of Program accordingly
9- Conduct Customer kick-off meeting with all Customer stakeholders
10- Conduct status meetings with the Projects managers
11- Place the planning work products under the Program configuration management area
12- Prepare the Program Tracking Report.
13- Present a Milestone Review Presentation to PM Director after each milestone completion
14- Responsible of closing all the non compliances from QA audits conducted on program
15- Periodically review the plans and Work Products and check the consistency with the Requirements Database.
16- Review and approve any taken decisions
17- A member of the change control board
18- Log and Track any change Request in the REQ DB
19- Analyze the measurement data in the Measurement and Analysis Sheet and communicate the results to PM Director and program teams
20- Track any corrective/adaptive actions to closure using the Action tracker sheet.
21- Approve the selected supplier
22- Review &approve the supplier Agreement before senior Management Approval
23- Monitor the suppliers’ processes as per the supplier agreement
24- Assign the acceptance committee that will accept the purchased items
25- Responsible of acceptance or rejection of the supplied items
26- Conduct Program Closeout meeting and prepare the program closure report
