• Manage the preparation of the design calculation, drawings, working drawings and construction documents, including Structural specifications.
• Prepare and follow up the submissions of design drawings and calculation for building permit approvals.
• Manage and coordinate structural drawings with MEP and architectural drawings
• Inspect and record the construction works carried out on site.
• Supervise and verify the quality control of site structural and civil works to ensure conformity with all contract documents for the project.
• Responding and following up of request for information (RFI) received from contractors at construction stages.
• Check and review construction documents and submittals of the project and with all the regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve the As Built drawings.
• Attending site meetings as required.
• Undertake final inspection of structure elements /works prior to invite Trakhees Authority Inspector to ensure it is executed as per Authority approved drawings.
• Undertake final inspection of structure elements /works prior to invite DM Authority Inspector to ensure it is executed as per Authority approved drawings.
• Review and approval of steel subcontractors method statements and structural calculations prior to construction.
• Ensure that testing of the materials is carried out in accordance with the project specifications and relevant codes/standards. Reject and ensure removal and replacement of non-compliant materials.
• Review Contractor’s QA test Reports of various Structure and Civil works activities such as, earth works activities, RCC concrete works...etc.
• Check and review construction documents and submittals of the project and with all the regulatory requirements.
Worked with the Structural design team to deliver a design package.
Assisting senior engineers to prepare structure models.
Arranging drawings for submission to local authorities in required formats.
Preparing Structural drawings of all design stages "concept, schematic and detailed design"
Preparation of civil and structural shop drawings and bar bending Schedules.
Attending site meetings for the various projects on hand.
Supervision of ongoing project for QC/QA prior to casting.
Coordination of structure drawings with other disciplines and their teams
Responding and following up of request for information (RFI) received from contractors at design and construction stages.
