duties and responsibilities
Plan, schedule, or coordinate MEP project activities to meet deadlines.
Prepare budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports, and release contractor/worker payments.
Study issues, accidents, or delays at the construction sites, and commission engineering consultant to make studies when necessary in order to ensure adherence to standards and to manage change.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical shop drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports to support onsite construction activities.
Prepare Requests for Information (RFI) when necessary.
Research, design, and evaluate mechanical products, equipment, systems, or processes to meet requirements.
Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, or repair to ensure that machines or equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications.
Advise on the installation, operation, maintenance, or repair of MEP systems and equipment, such as pumps, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) or water systems. ● Installing new DRAINAGE & VENT piping line consist of 4 manholes & 3 inspection chambers. ●Installing C.w & H.w & C.A S.S (316&304) piping lines with different diameters.
●Installing firefighting pipeline ● implement and monitor all mechanical related works at site as per approved drawings and methods and safety rules. ● Attend regular meetings with consultant, owner, civil engineer and electrical engineer to provide an update on project progress or make any modifications. ●Assign target for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis. ●Prepare and submit daily reports inspection request (IR). ●Estimate, prepare and assign resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc... that required for all mechanical and related works prior to execution. ●interpret construction drawings & Study BOQ before execution of any job make sure that it follows applicable standard or specifications. ● Receiving materials and ensuring that they comply with specifications and Prepare (Mir) and submit it. ●Collaborate with cost control & planning department daily. ● Prepare and submit Quantity survey (Qs) ●Test networks after installing with required pressure.
●Install chilled water seamless pipes with different diameters (4"-6"-8"-10"-12")
● Pipe insulation after installation.
●installation of pipelines for each machine and insulation for some pipes.
● installation of heat exchangers& pumps with fittings & piping sys. & many other machines like pilllers, fryers and packaging machines.
Rotating machines engineer ..responsible for Vibration analysis and predictive maintenance...procurement
