• Perform Safety training for the employees according to Husky's policy and Canadian occupational health and safety and Process Safety Management standards.
• Perform and review the third parties inspections for the drilling rigs and service rigs according to API standards and federal and provincial regulations.
• Fully experienced with Safety Studies such as QRA, HAZID, HAZOP, SIMOPS.
• Working according to the regulations and make sure ALARP and best practices are in place.
• Followed the API standards and applied the regulations into the rig safety procedures.
• Fully experienced on Major Accident Hazard Management (MAH) and Environmental assessments.
• Fully experienced as auditor in key and critical HSE compliance audits, inspections and reviews within Department and Contractors.
• Full experience with OSHA standards and ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and PSM
• Advise and supervise Contractors in a broad range of safety and health hazard preventions and enforcement to the Contractors and project personnel on sites.
• Audit and inspect the job site to detect and correct safety hazards.
• Initiate and conduct accident investigations and prepares job accident reports.
• Represent management during safety inspections of the job site by regulatory authorities and company insurance carriers.
• Conducts risk assessments for upcoming work and provides technical assistance to the safety planning process.
• Experienced as auditor in key and critical HSE compliance audits, inspections and reviews within Department and Contractors.
• Experienced in investigation, review and analysis of work-related accidents/ incidents including root cause and lessons learned and ensuring implementation and close-out of preventive and corrective actions.
• Perform the daily safety meetings and coach the crew on how to develop the FLHA, JSA request a work permit and PTW.
• Submitted daily safety reports and reviewed the provincial and federal safety regulations.
• Compiled with the Company & Regulatory health, environment, quality, and Quality policies.
