As a project engineer, mechanical, my primary responsibility is to oversee the planning, design, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
1. Conducting feasibility studies and determining project requirements: responsible for assessing the viability of mechanical engineering projects and determining the resources required, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
2. Designing mechanical systems: use my knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed designs and specifications for mechanical components and systems.
3. Overseeing construction and installation: Supervise the construction and installation of mechanical systems, ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards, and that deadlines and budgets are met.
4. Managing project budgets and timelines: Responsible for creating and managing project budgets, timelines, and schedules, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams:work closely with other engineers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure that mechanical engineering projects are aligned with broader project goals and objectives.
6. Conducting quality control checks: responsible for conducting quality control checks on all mechanical engineering work, ensuring that all work meets the required standards and specifications.
7. Providing technical support: provide technical support to other teams within the organization, including sales, marketing, and customer support, answering technical questions and providing guidance on mechanical engineering issues.
