• Project lead (PLC upgrade and maintenance project) -water Injection stations (CPS's)
PLC upgrade.
PLC troubleshooting.
SCADA upgrade.
Instrument and control Commissioning.
Instrument calibration.
Maintenance.
• Support QA/QC team for Instruments and Electrical- construction projects (Dehydrator & Desalter).
• Perform projects commissioning (Loop test, Function test), for DCS, ESD, SIS for different control environments.
Projects: west Qurrna-1 at, DS-7 and MOD 300 and Rumaila (ROO) at DS-2 CPS’s control system upgrade and maintenance.
Client: Petronas O&M, Lukoil, GPNB Gazprom Neft-Badra.

Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), Site Acceptance Test (SAT) and Commissioning for Automation Projects (Loop test, Function test), Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shutdown System (ESD), Fire and Gas system(F&GS), Safety Instrumented System (SIS), networking and instrumentation.
Responsibilities include:
• Preparing the required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, and documentation).
• Producing part(s) of total functional design specifications and technical design specifications.
• Executing implementation of work assignments to meet appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Executing test work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Executing documentation work assignments to appropriate standards and quality systems.
• Sharing technical knowledge with project team, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.

• Proactively identifying potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work.
• Visiting customer site as required to undertake engineering and/or commissioning work.
Service engineer for maintaining the control system and conduct commissioning, system upgrades, and testing when required in Garraf oil field site, first commercial production (FCP), Badra site, and west Qurna site).

Conducted the commissioning tasks, upgrades, troubleshooting, modifications, improvements, and developing maintenance procedures for the following:
• PLCs, including Direct Logic 405, 205 (D4-450 CPU).
• The rig control unit Stewart & Stevenson type, MCC (Motor control center)
• All electrical equipment involved in (SCR/VFD) drilling rigs (Oil Well 2000, Oil Well 1500, Drillmec 2000) including 1000hp DC motors and 10-25-30-50-75-100-1000hp AC motors, Generators, especially CAT (3512, 3512B), Transformers (Dry-type), Elmaggo-Dynamic braking system-Eddy current brake, Hydraulic power unit-HPU and Disc brake system.
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) ABB type for AC power Rig (DM-Drillmec 2000).
• Air compressors (IR Ingersoll Rand 11Bar complete packages)
