Working as a Senior Drilling & workover Engineer in Onshore Drilling and Workover operations Department, Dukhan, State of Qatar.
Worked as Operation Engineer in different sectors of Dukhan onshore field like Fahail, Khatiyah, Jaleha and Diyab.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of workover programs of wells including vertical and horizontal oil producer and PWI wells with full focus on HSE. The work involved retrieving old completions (that sometimes required fishing operations), Squeezing cement in existing perforations or open hole, running corrosion and cement bond logs, performing repair and remedial cement jobs of casing and liner, running new liners and casings, tie-back liners to surface and cementing, changing and repairing well heads, re-perforating different or same zones and geo-layers, running P & A kits for open hole water shut-off jobs, performing acid jobs to enhance injectivity in perforations, running new completions for PWI wells, Gas-lift oil producer wells and observation wells and also performing Plug and Abandon jobs of wells where required.
provide an Engineering feedback to the Drilling Team in order to enhance operation’s efficiency and accuracy.
•Assist Company Man in variousl Operations and Support/back up wherever needed.
•Compare the on-going drilling activity with offset wells and provide technical feedbacks for enhancement.
•Interface, evaluate and keep in check with contractor’s services during operations such as Drilling, Mud engineering, Directional Drilling, Liner & Casing running, Cementing, and Fishing to improve job quality.
•Prepare Daily Drilling Reports, Daily Cost Reports and update Bit Records, Casing/Liner/BHA Tallys etc.
•Pre-Estimate/Verify operation’s data like Hydraulics, ECD, Capacities, BHA designs, BHP, Displacements, Kill Sheets, Cement Volumes, FIT, LOT etc. and optimize technical limits in this respect.
•Verify service invoices generated on field to resolve discrepancies.
•Collect all relevant data and prepare well summary of each phase, analyze problems encountered in these operations, time spent on all activities and used parameters for future reference in upcoming wells.
I have completed a bachelor and masters degree in Engineering with major as "Drilling of Oil and Gas wells"
