Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Lead and manage the entire recruitment cycle to ensure planned, effective and timely recruitment of personnel in accordance with the approved manpower plan and valid staff requisitions.
• Manage onboarding of new employees including induction & orientation programs, ensuring all required resources for new employees are in place including key documentation, employee handbook and required work resources.
HR Policies & Procedures
• Review existing HR policies & procedures and ensure those are in-line with CAA and SACSCOC standards or any other accreditation agency the university management decides to pursue.
Performance Evaluation
• Monitor the performance of employees, ensure the execution of semi-annual and annual performance appraisals and lead employee development initiatives and trainings to develop employees for senior level roles.
Relationship Management
• Liaise between the employee and insurance agency as well as administer their health and welfare plans.
• Maintain good communication and positive relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction; address their demands, grievances or other issues through positive and professional mediation.
Reporting & Documentation
• Prepare and submit human resources and administration reports and attend meetings as directed by the senior management.

Compensation & Benefits
• Manage the Compensation and Benefits process according to the policies and procedures and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll administration.
HR Management
• Ensure cost effective and timely execution of general HR services managed by the Human Resources Office.
• Ensure that all HR administrative records are updated including employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, attendance, leave plans, performance reviews, end of service and terminations.
• Developed policy and procedures in accordance with the organizational norms; Directed and coordinated human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labour relations, benefits, training, and employee services.
Payroll Management
• Accountable for payroll data verification to ensure accurate and timely processing of remuneration payments to the university employees.
• Process payroll account transactions including employee salaries, benefits, garnishments, deductions and pension deductions.
• Manage the UAE & GCC nationals’ pension including the start, end of service statements and preparing monthly schedule to process the contribution payment.
• Prepare payroll report, employees’ data reports, salary analysis report, employee turnover statistics report and HR Ratio Report; ensure that all payroll activities satisfy the standards of Internal and External Auditing.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of employee details in the HRIS and update the details as per the changes in employee compensation details or employee records.
Compensation & Benefits
• Ensure that compensation and benefits are integrated into HR policies, handle and resolve all employee queries/ issues related to compensation and benefits, prepare and submit regular reports on compensation and benefits to the accounting division.
• Process employee health insurance and verify insurance billing before submission to concerned departments.
