• Conduct supervision responsibilities in adherence to guide lines in the Company & contract guide lines as indicated in the project documents and MEW regulations; ensure that supervision guide lines are being adhered to by site electrical engineers all times.
• Review all of shop drawings, composite drawings, material submittals, samples to ensure compliance with technical specifications and ministerial requirements and follow up till obtain approvals from owner, relevant government bodies and ministries e.g. (MEW, MOC, KOC and KFD).
• Selection and approval of sub-contractors for electrical all electrical works.
• Assist in resolving any issues rose informing Main contractor/ client of any discrepancies identified against contract documents and make recommendations to all concerned parties.
• Inspect all procured electrical components and materials and ensure that material on site is being adequately stored and protected prior to their installation.
• Supervise the installations of electrical system on a daily /regular basis to ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents and approved material and shop drawings.
• Ensure that noncompliance to the CCS is communicated to the project manager on a timely basis in order to avoid any delays in construction.
• Remain abreast on changes in local ministerial requirements regarding electrical systems.
• Study the contractor’s CCS schedule thoroughly.
