•Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures throughout the process
•Carry out project / corporate audits for ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and recommend the necessary corrective actions and measures.
•Monitoring policies and procedures and report any areas where improvement is required
•Assisting the Project Manager/Construction Managers in reviewing the contractor’s specific quality plans and produce recommendations
•Ensure timely and effective resolution for QA or QC issues, in coordination with Project Manager / Construction Manager
•Coordinate with the contractor’s representative and Site Engineer in charge for inspection and meeting about quality problems including the closure of Non-Compliance Reports.
•Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC documents. Responsible for the closure of Non-conformance, NCR and Site Instruction.
•Responsible for the quality and workmanship of every activity, thorough knowledge of all phases of engineering construction relating to Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Fighting discipline interfacing the multidisciplinary operations.
• Assess method statement for the activities and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Liaise with Contractors Quality Engineer for submission of Project material submittals/ Method statements/ Drawings / all other engineering documents to Consultant.
• Monitoring and advising on the performance of the quality management system, producing data and reporting on performance, measuring against set standards.
•Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
• Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met.
• Setting customer service standards.
• Specifying quality requirements of materials with suppliers.
•investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety in Project level.
•Ensuring that Construction processes comply with standards at both national and international level.
•Developing management (PQP/PMP) and technical reports and customers’ reports.
•Determining training needs.
•Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality.
•Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
•Supervising and monitor construction and development activities such as, procedures, complying to project specifications, review of method statements, inspection of the monitoring and measuring devices, review all inspection and testing plans and related activities, follow up of non-conforming items(NCR’s), field non conformity analysis, corrective and preventive actions.
•Verifying the compliance with the approved quality management system requirements during evaluation and execution phases of (subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and manufacturers) prequalification’s and selection of these suppliers, vendors, manufacturers and subcontractors.
•Ensuring inspection to confirm workmanship/materials used /products supply comply with project specified requirements and approvals.
Reports to the project Quality Assurance manager / Sr. SRE.
Implementation of Quality Management System throughout the duration of programme and ensure the activities required for the operation of QMS are planned, implemented and controlled and their progress monitored.
Audit the project quality management system at all levels of programme (interface management), including all stake holders and control/monitor corrective and preventive action.
Develop, review and assess programme level processes and procedures.
Prepare the quality plan and project quality management procedures for the programme and review and evaluate contractor’s project Quality plan.
Analyze NCRs and prepare recommendations to management for process improvement. Find out root cause analysis and report principle cause of quality losses and non conformance and propose suitable corrective action.
Managing technical submissions and conduct regular audit on document control and filing system for ISO compliance.
Prepare QAQC Report and power point presentation for weekly and monthly report
Review all Tender documents for Quality section, method statement, ITP, All Pre Qualification documents including testing labs
Conduct orientation session/Quality training on QMS for the project personnel
Ensure all as built drawings, O and M manuals, Project dossiers are submitted and ensure snags/punch items are corrected and signed off.
Assisting in measuring and periodically reporting quality performance, including achieving alignment with the customer
Advising the Project Manager on quality issues Providing quality related information to functional and corporate Quality organizations
Maintaining client liaison and communication for project quality related activities
Reports to the project Quality Assurance manager.
Defines, develops and implements quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans and other QA assessments based on company and Project requirement.
Maintaining, designing and controlling quality strategies and quality management systems that is what forms the basic principles of quality management system.
Identify problems, pose plausible solutions and implement those solutions to achieve objectives of the project.
Plan and coordinate quality control activities and conduct sessions/ training to explain to staff, the importance of following national/international quality norms/rule/regulations.
Predominantly focus on checking quality of products/services and project execution, quality control (QC) engineer’s brainstorm to chalk out effective quality control plans so that quality is never compromised and risk factors are nullified, to the minimum possible extent.
Raise an alert when an important issue is likely to put in jeopardy the whole project.
Ensure the Travel and Test coordination with Engineer / PMC/ Employer for Factory acceptance of Materials / Equipments.
Key role playing in MEP Materials Supplier quality survillance.
Strictly Implementation of the Project Quality Plan at site.
Ensuring that the company’s Quality System is applied and effective.
Liaise and attend meetings with the QA/PQM and or Company Representative.
Organizing periodic internal Quality audits and reporting its effectiveness to Top Management.
Participate in ISO 9001:2008, QMS Audits as a Lead -auditor.
Follow-up & co-ordinate for closeout actions on QMS Audit open NCRS & Observations.
Method Statement: Review, Modifications, and submissions to get approval well in advance.
Procedures; inputs compilation and submission to BEB & Engineer for approval
MEP Training: arrange & ensure Quality awareness & work procedure trainings to construction teams
Review and approve documentation reports, audits and other official reports to keep as final records.
Report any non-conformance to QA Manager.
Organizing Factory testing and submission of test documentation as specified.
Liaise and assist Engineers and Supervisors in the QA document presentation, verification and reporting of construction tasks to ensure compliance.
Close of Corrective Actions and implement actions of preventive measure.
Coordination of reporting and KPI's.
implemented quality control plans and issued all QC records as applicable.
• Issued non-conformance reports when incompliance is found.
• Organized and toolbox talk before to start a new phase of relevant discipline activity and to review the specification requirement.
• Inspected isometric, flow diagram drawings, monitor fit-up, welding inspection of above ground piping.
• Witnessed hydro test, pneumatic test, conduct mechanical test for procedure and performance qualification test.
• Prepared quality records and final acceptable documentation.
To abide strictly by the applicable procedure, follow and implement the QMS System. Reporting directly to the Project Manager. To hierarchy the work-in-progress, the assessed needs the encountered problem.
To Maintain MEP Materials and Works Inspection Status.
Maintaining standards according to the specifications from contract documents.
Playing key role in, surveillance audits.
Project Billing and client certification.
Preparation of Method statement (MST), Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) and Implementation in Project.
Evaluating inspection reports and test results as per International Standards/ Customers Standards / specs.
Witnessing/Conducting Hydro Test activities.
Ensuring prompt corrective / preventive actions for continuous system improvement.
Continuous monitoring and implementation of standards
To carry out Mechanical work Pre-Inspections.
Preparing the Work Inspection Requests and Materials Inspections Requests.
Periodically coordinate with Site Engineers for Rising the Work Inspections.
Coordinate with the Consultants for Approvals. (Materials and Work inspection)
Establish manuals, reports, method statements, procedures, processes and statistics.
Closing the Defect Notices, NCR given by Client.
To Maintain MEP Materials and Works Inspection Status.
Witnessing/Conducting Hydro Test activities.
Conduct Material inspection & insure that all the Material must comply with Material submissions and project requirement.
Preparation of Cold Spray Coatings.
