- Responsible for Implementing the PepsiCo HSE Policies and standards through proper planning, communication, training, enforcement, inspection, monitoring of safe/unsafe behaviors.
1- To advise and support all departments, in making sure that managers/ employees follow HSE procedures.
2- To assist managers and staff in identifying unsafe conditions, behaviors and suggesting improvements.
3- Monitor contractor’s safety performance and liaise with contractors and project department for any needed improvements.
4- To assist managers to ensure that their area has key staff appointed to carry out the health and safety functions e.g. First Aiders, Fire wardens etc. and ensure adequate fire protection equipment is available.
5- To assist in incidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses investigating activities.
6- Train staff on subjects related to health and safety like Safety Toolbox talks, emergency response procedure, reporting near misses and incidents, use and maintenance of PPE.
7- Participate actively in the health and safety awareness campaigns like interaction with staff feedback and suggestions, site training and awareness sessions, preparing and maintaining of safety signs, posters, boards and publications.
8- Maintain a register of fire fighting equipment and ensure routine maintenance is being carried out as required. Liaise with related internal and external parties.
9- Liaise with stores to maintain proper stock level of PPE.
10- Routine safety inspection on plant, fleet, stores, welfare facilities, offices, external distribution centers as per the safety inspection procedure and assignment by direct manager
11- Utilize MyEHS system in routine and non-routine activities in HSE.
-TPM Facilitator Trainee (4 months):
o Was part of the team succeeded to pass the TPM third stage audit
o Done a lubrication manual for several production lines.
o Running the production lines according to the eight pillars of TPM.
o Trained in KAIZEN leader program.
o Worked in run right and DT5 live best practice tools.
-Internship Program (3 months):
o Trained in an internship program at P&P department.
o worked on project of increasing the efficiency of RGB production line using DT5 best practice tool.
o Creating an android calculator application for supply chain engineers.
o Taken Training courses in Presentation, writing resume skills and lean six sigma.
o understanding HVAC system from installation to maintenance.
o Knowledge in firefighting systems, FM 200, water perforating and diesel rooms.
o Reading AutoCAD drawings, taking as built and modifying by shop drawing.
