AS A SAMPLE CATCHER
Collected the sample from the shale shaker, washed the sample & prepared the sample due to the different type of sampling specified by Operating Company.
AS A TRENEE MUD LOGGING GEOLOGIST:
Interprets Litho logical of ditch cutting, Analysis Hydrocarbon Evaluations, Picking Formation tops, sidewall core points.
Compile Formation Evaluation Log/Master Log on master log software.
Prepare daily/midnight/weekly/monthly/drilling parameters/ASCII Gas-Litho logy/PDF file/sample dispatch list and Final Well Reports.
Calculate Lag Time Check.
Assist Data Engineer to monitor well status, data acquisition, process and engineering reports.
Look after job of all mud loggers & sample catchers, Instruct the sample catcher to pack, label and dispatch of ditch cutting / vial / file / unwashed / geochemical/ samples, side wall core as specified by the operating company, also arrange short training for new trainee mud loggers & sample catchers to teach them about mud logging job procedure.
