• Coordinate and direct the financial planning, budgeting, procure-ment, or investment activities of all or part of an organization.
•Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
•Prepare or direct preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and/or reports required by regulatory agencies.
•Advise management on short-term and long-term financial objec-tives, policies, and actions.
•Analyze the financial details of past, present, and expected operations in order to identify development opportunities and areas where improvement is needed.
•Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regula-tions, and management policies.
Assurance, Partnership Distribution, IT, Human Resources and report all the major variances identified to the department heads along with the analytical reasoning. Also variance analysis is being done by comparing current month’s and previous month’s costs to identify major deviations in cost from previous month.
- Prepare Policy MIS by analyzing fixed costs ( staff and occupancy cost) and variable costs (Office Services and Marketing cost) to arrive at per policy issuance cost and policy servicing cost for operations departments like Renewals, Customer Service, Claims, etc.
•Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
-Examine and evaluate financial and information systems
• Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compli-ance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements.
