 GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
 The Monitoring and Evaluation assistant is responsible of specific activities that help quantify, analyze, and document the impacts and outputs of the Inclusive Education program including data collection, data management, and data analysis. Therefore, the Monitoring and Evaluation assistant will be responsible for handling all documentation. For that purpose, the Monitoring and Evaluation assistant will be responsible for assisting in the design of the M&E plan, M&E forms, makes sure data collection is performed in a timely manner, participate in data entry, analyze the data and generate reports.
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 Contribute in developing systematic and realistic M&E plans that capture required data to report on program indicator.
 Develop Data collection tools as needed, manage, and control data collection from the field in a timely manner.
 Support in developing project forms and ensure its collect-required data that comply with project indicators.
 Update project databases on weekly basis.
 Coordinate with the program teams to ensure that monitoring activities are being performed according to schedule and that data collection is adequately completed.
 Work on CommCare, ONA, Excel and Google forms for the project on a regular basis.
 Travel to all areas of work, carry out survey, and conduct both individual as well as focus group interviews in target areas of work.
 Analyze data and provide summary reports as requested.
 Provide support in Minimum Standards filing system for the project.
 Support M&E team in identification and composition of success stories and case studies documentation, where applicable.
 Collect, compile and disseminate project team field reports or progress reports on a regular basis
 Conduct himself/herself both professionally and personally in such a manner as to bring credit to Mercy Corps and to not jeopardize its humanitarian mission.
 Support on determining data analysis procedures and use of quantitative or qualitative analysis tools
 Cleaning, sorting, categorizing and organizing data.
 Other duties as assigned.
 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: None
 REPORTS DIRECTLY TO: Deputy Program Manager
 WORKS DIRECTLY WITH: M&E coordinators, Senior Program Manager, MEL-Pillar Manager, Project coordinators and field officers.
