• The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator is responsible and contributes to strengthening and ensure timely data collection, management and reporting of We are Able Project as well as of other projects implemented by ZOA in Gedaref State.

Key Responsibilities Provides technical support to We are Able and other ZOA project teams on better understanding of indicators and data elements. Ensures timely collection/receipt and review of data collected by various program stakeholders including community level committees; implementing partners, DPOs and CSOs, technical departments, public authorities, program staff, etc. Develops, reviews and maintains updated program databases for easy retrieval of data for reporting and decision making Leads monthly entry of different project data into databases and ensures data is up to date as per implementation plans and indicators tracking tables. Supports and takes the lead in project evaluation and operation research activities by facilitating field data collection, data management, reporting and information sharing accordingly as delegated by the supervisor. Supports project coordinators and Gedaref program manager in preparation of monthly, quarterly and any other ad hoc reports by availing data in a timely manner. Supports other ZOA Sudan programmes learning and operation research data activities. Conducts verification and validation of programme data through planned routine data quality assessment (RDQA) visits or during monitoring field visits in collaboration with other ZOA MEAL and program team members. Supports in data analysis and feedback dissemination. Liaises with other staff (as relevant) to ensure that lessons learned and recommendations from MEAL are fed back into programming. Participates in MEAL capacity building at the Programme in collaboration with the ZOA Sudan MEAL Expert. Takes up any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
