1. Leading a team of procurement officers to insure supplying the acquisition of goods and/or services at the best possible total cost of ownership, in the right quality and quantity, at the right time, in the right place and from the right source and supplier.
2. Supervising all the purchasing acts for electro-mechanical department (following up the collection of quotations, the preparation of comparison sheets, purchase orders, following up deliveries and logistics).
3. Key user for the ERP system (Oracle EBS R12) supply chain (procurement and inventory management system).
4. Participation in the implementation of the Oracle EBS R12 - ERP system (procurement and inventory management system).
5. Full knowledge of the (JD Edwards system: Citrix - People soft - oracle) platforms (procurement and inventory modules).
6. Receiving drawings and BOQs for the different projects and preparing a schedule and a forecast for the purchases and deliveries.
7. Communicating and corresponding with local and international suppliers to collect quotations, technical data and to follow up deliveries.
8. Coordinating between technical department and the suppliers to insure the smooth flow of materials and information between them.
9. Following up logistics and shipments tracking to insure deliveries on time.
10. Responsible for providing prices for tendering and biddings for governmental and private sector projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Data collection from: production, warehouses, accounts, marketing, quality, procurement and logistics departments. (Financial, productivity, time and motion reports).
2. Data analysis: analyzing the collected data and presenting the data in more efficient way and comparing the data with the historical data to have a full understanding about the production and sales tendencies. Also to provide and present this reports to management for decision making.
3. Providing daily and monthly reports to the general manager about the above mentioned departments (financial, progress and auditing reports)
4. Working with the QA and QC departments to insure the smooth and
complete paper work cycle and the implementation of the ISO and HACCP regulations.
5. Working with the maintenance department as a coordinator between the local & international suppliers and the maintenance engineer.
6. Working as technical support with the supply chain and logistics (importing and exporting) department for the supplying and selection of the new machines and equipments for the factory.
Responsibilities:
1. Working in a team to implement and apply the ISO system in the establishment.
2. Working with the QA department to insure the conformity of the products to the standards.
3. Working with QA department in inspecting the production outcomes and products.
4. Working with production department in conducting production plans and production schedules.
