• Leading the B2B technical domain R&D activities as part of Orange Labs Egypt collaborating with OLS/BIZZ (Orange Labs Services, Business Direction), Orange Business Services, and the different Orange countries Business Units worldwide, within several domains:
• SDN/NFV Domain: Developing network automation applications on top of SDN platforms like OpenDaylight, OpenContraril, ONAP. Contributions to the ONAP Open Network Automation Platform, via code submit/review, documentation and tutorials, and use cases for the Platform.
• Unified Communications Domain: Microsoft Skype for Business Ecosystem & Roadmaps following latest trends, testing new features, and contribution to SFB newsletters.
• NGIN/IMS Domain: Collaborating with Software Developers in building SIP applications for IMS networks via simulating IMS Networks behavior using open source platforms like OpenIMS, Project Clearwater, and Kamailio IMS.
• Access Networks Domain: Presales and Engineering for Orange Livebox Residential and Orange Livebox Pro in Middle East and Africa Regions. Developing new feature technical specifications based on customer requirements, submitting specs to HW and SW Vendors, and validating the new versions developed by the Vendors.

Senior Program Manager for NNI Partnerships Deployment at Orange Business Services

• Reports directly to Vice President of NNI Interconnections and International Partnerships within the International Backbone Network Factory Organization IBNF in Orange Business Services.
• Leads the NNI implementation and Partnership Deployment, overlooking all the specific NNI and Partnership work streams, according to the Partnership Deployment Governance Model, starting from the Kickoff T0 Gate, up to the T3 Service Release Gate.
• The NNI Partnership can be for Countrywide coverage, or it can be Regional coverage, e.g. covering several countries in Africa, or Asia Pacific Region, etc…
• Manages the Partnership Deployment Work-streams, including:
- Commercial Work-stream : Contract Negotiation with the Partner including Technical NNI Architecture, Service Pricing and SLAs/Penalties.
- Presales Marketing Work-stream: Develop the Quotation/Pricing Strategy, Decision Tree for OBS Presales when selecting the new NNI Partner, Developing the Service Definition of the new partnership and Training OBS Presales teams on the new Service.
- Technical Work-stream: NNI Technical Architecture LLD + HLD, Technical Implementation of the NNI Gateway including possible backbone changes on OBS Backbone to accommodate the new interconnection, Technical Validation of the Layer1/2/3 Access Offers provided by the NNI Partner to confirm they comply with Orange Technical Requirements, and Modeling the NNI Architecture in the various IT Systems in OBS to ensure the different internal entities can use the new Service via the new NNI.
- Process Work-stream: Developing and validating the Fault Management Interlock Process and Escalation Matrix between Orange Business Service and the NNI Partner, Developing and validating the Ordering and Service Delivery Interlock Process between Orange Business Services and the NNI Partner
- Pilot Work-stream: Manage and Monitor the implementation of the 1st pilot using the new service via the new partnership that will be the Proof-of-Concept, and based on the success of the 1st pilot, the official release of the service via the new partnership for OBS Sales teams to quote to customers.
• Supports the work-streams in either commercial/legal, technical, or operational aspects.
• Ensures structured consolidated framework for initiating, monitoring, reporting, and escalation for all the Partnership Deployment work-streams.
• Ensures all Partnership Deployment work-streams are interworking in the most efficient manner to complete the new Service Deployment.
• Accountable for meeting the Partnership Deployment targets in terms of time, quality, and cost.
• Analyzes the performance as related to the revenue, order book, ordering and fault management Key Performance indicators, after 12 months of operations with the new OBS Partner, which is the T4 Gate.
• Presents the project status at the T-1, T0, T3, and T4 Gates to the NNI Board that includes OBS Senior Management as members of the Board representing Sourcing, Marketing, Service Operations, Service Delivery, Network Backbone, and Engineering.
• Adapt and adjust the NNI Deployment framework to cope with changes in company strategy, and different market dynamics.
