• Scrutinises all Retail Loan applications received from branches (physically or through Workflow ) prior to release the loan or make amendment in system record.
• Ensures compliance to the term of sanction and Bank regulation prior to release or block funds in Customers’ accounts against an approved loan.
• Prepares Swift messages to be sent to other banks for purchase of loan.
• Prepares letter for payments to Car Companies under Car Loan Scheme.
• Reviews the reports to verify accuracy of data input by the teller.
• Scrutinise the documents received from all the branches in respect of following requests:
o Disbursement of fresh loan.
o Change/release of guarantor(s).
o Rescheduling of existing loans.
o Postponement of loan installment.
o Execute following activities with regard to delinquent Retail loan products.
o Transferring defaulted loans to under settlement ledgers.
o Manual recovery of past dues from guarantors’ accounts.
o Recovery of Provision/ Interest in Suspense to income and write off liabilities as approved by Board of Directors.
• Checks the entered / amended data through system report.
• Maintenance of departmental record in orderly manner
• Reviewing applications received from acquisition channels according to relative credit program within the approved TAT.
• Initial check of all applications to ensured that they comply with policy manual risk guidelines.
• Uploading customer data to Adlib banking system.
• Conducting internal verifications for all applicants and validate all available information.
• Checking customer's documents accuracy, credit history, external verification reports and system credit score.
• Identify fraudulent applications and refer to Retail Lending Manager.
• Maintain a diary system to ensure that conditions of sanction are complied with and reviews are done in timely manner.
• Assess and approve or decline applications for unscored branch based lending products within own discretion
• Responsible for minimizing credit risk by preparing appropriate credit analysis to various credit proposals.
• Handling three major retail products car loan, cash loan& credit cards (secured and unsecured).
• Specifying customer type whether he is self-employed, employee or non income proof customer according to securities and documents attached in customer file.
• Using appropriate credit program which both satisfy customer demands and meet policy requirements.
• Specifying loan amount that match customer's monthly income.
• Act as backbone between department and branch level.
• Receiving file includes all customers' related copied documents such as customer national ID, HR letter, utility bill….
• Checking customer credit facilities through Citi GRB & NAS systems.
• Assuring that the customer meets the bank minimum requirements criteria.
• Specifying appropriate loan amount according to assigned policy.
• Checking customers credit history reports, assessing their ability to pay monthly installment & deciding the customers' eligibility to take credit facility or not.
• Preparing monthly reports including customers who took credit facilities through the entire month.
• Coding &Uploading new customers file to the Central Bank of Egypt database.
• Reviewing company financial statements assuring that they are committing with proposed accounting standards.
• Highlighting fraud, omission & incorrect issues.
• Preparing final audit report.
