ERC Refinery is a 4th generation technology refinery operating at a 4.2M. Tons/Year capacity producing LPG, naphtha, reformate, jet fuel, Euro V-Diesel, and fuel oil, in addition to coke and sulfur.

Responsibilities:
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies to acquire goods and services required for oil & gas projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budget constraints.
• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and technical capabilities. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favourable pricing and delivery terms.
• Contract Management: Manage contract lifecycle from drafting and negotiation to execution and performance monitoring ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
• Procurement Planning: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and develop procurement plans that optimize cost-efficiency and project timelines.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks such as supply chain disruptions, supplier financial instability, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes.
• Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of critical materials and equipment to support ongoing operations and project execution, minimizing stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Compliance: Ensure procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and supplier scorecards. Address performance issues and implement improvement plans as necessary.
• Budget Control: Manage procurement budgets and expenditures, tracking costs against forecasts and identifying opportunities for cost savings or cost avoidance.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments such as engineering, operations, finance, and legal to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives and project requirements.

• Successfully reduced overall costs by an impressive average of 10% by implementing a spend management plan for each project and tracking budget variance to identify new cost-saving opportunities.
• Achieved a 95% satisfactory supplier delivery rate for a project valued up to $100M by managing the entire sourcing and contracting process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and award.
• Optimized financial resources by effectively managing procurement-related budgets, implementing cost-saving measures, and developing plans to reduce spending.
• Maintained a consistent supply of high-quality products by building and nurturing strong relationships with suppliers/vendors and ensuring punctual delivery.
