Responsibilities:
•Monitoring and maintaining 22 LPARS.
•System health check-up.
•Handling Backup’s, working with libraries.
•Monitoring iCluster replication tool.
•Experience with working on DB2/400 and SQL/400 queries.
•Working with MMS JDA retail products.
•Basic working knowledge on RPGLE and CL program.
•Working with Physical Files, logical files, data members, objects and libraries.
•Working and troubleshooting application issues and errors.
•Monitoring and administrating EOD jobs.
•Working / creating day-to-day reports.
•Handling MSGW’s.
•Creating and resolving incidents, service requests and change requests using Salesforce ticketing tool.
•Working with journals and receivers.

•Taking backup’s (Daily and Monthly).
•Monthly maintenance of the Production and Non production LPAR’s.
•IPL’ing the systems monthly.

•Using FTP transferring files from Source library to required library as per the customer requirement.
•Migrating the source code from test to production server.
•Providing production support for retail application all over the world by analysing the error occurs in production jobs
Responsibilities:
•Experience on work management.
•Handling all kind of H/w and S/w alerts. Coordinating with IBM to FIX the issues.
•Handling different kind of messages and coordinating with team.
•Giving authority to the objects as per user request.
•Work with JOBQ, OUTQ, Spooled Files, MSGQ.
•Checking daily logs, System status, network connection, Messages, health check-up in fifteen AS400 LPARS.
•Submitting, daily, weekly, quarterly and yearly backup using BRMS and Native AS400 Commands. Performing backup tape duplication and also taking OPT 21 full save backup.
•Working with incident and service requests like creating, modifying and solving via ITSM ticketing tool.
•Restoration of objects and libraries as per User Requests.
•Perform moving of files from PC to AS400 system and AS400 system to PC using FTP Commands.
•Working with user profiles as per User Requests.
•Working with libraries and subsystems
•Performing the IPL on Weekends.
•Tape Management via green screen and GUI-ATL
•Worked on third party application environment ‘MAPICS’, scheduling jobs and taking backups to disk on the daily basis.
•Monitoring third party email server called E-Mail Server (RJS).
•Experience in fetching data from database files using WRKQRY.
•Basic knowledge on HMC & OPS-Consoles
