It is situated in the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia. Project Managers and Owners Company is SJMB, JUBAIL (SABIC- Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation). The cost of the project is 1.9 Billion Saudi Riyals. It consists of three Towers, Data Centre, Auditorium, Sports Complex and Car Park Building. Architects: Henning Larsen and Associates, Germany, Structure Thornton Tomasetti, UK, Structural Consultant. The three towers stands on a podium of three levels. The three towers are about 12 Storey, 14 Storey and 25 Storey. Concept: Steel Structural - Diagrid System. All the slab floors are designed as Composite floor slab and Steel beams.
The total quantity of structural steel used in the project is about 12, 500 Ton. Data Centre, Sports Complex and Auditorium is designed in concrete, Car Park Building is constructed in precast. The project Completion date is in the end of 2021.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Report directly to Project Director.
• Project coordination and administration.
• Executed the project by fulfilling the requirements of Project Specifications, Design drawings, Comments, ACI, BS, AD Design Code and Saudi Standard codes.
• Review and Approved the Structural design submitted by the Design Consultant.
• Review and Approved the ETABS Models to check the Stability of the building against Seismic and Wind.
• Review and Approved the SAFE Models for Pile foundation, Raft and Slabs of the buildings.
• Review and Approved the Shear walls, Columns, Retaining walls and Isolated Foundations.
• Review the Façade design.
• Review and Approved the GEO-Technical report of RJF and ACES Report for Foundation and Underground water tanks.
• Review and Approved IFC, Shop drawing, ITP, Material Submittals for Structural Works as per the project procedures.
• Review and to approve the Architecture/Civil/Structural Construction procedures, method statements, ITPS and materials.
• Coordinate the Structural Engineers and Inspectors in monitoring and supervising all the activities associated with the Project in relation to the Structural Works.
• Lead and manage team of Architecture/Civil/Structural engineers of the project. Study and follow the Quality Plan of the project.
• Identifies the tests requirements for the Architectural/Structural works in accordance to Standards and Codes.
• Provides solutions to any Architectural/Structural engineering potential problems, issues, and deficiencies
• Reviews and provides recommendations to RFIs submitted, related to the Structural works.
• Provides input to the Architectural/Structural Engineering team when issuing NCRs for non-conforming works of the Contractor, and participate in the resolution and closure.
• Deals with the commercial issues of the project related to Architecture/Civil/Structures.
• Reviews and approves the structural design activities before executing on site.

the cost of the project is more than 2.2 Billion Saudi Riyals.
In foundation piles is used of 60 and 80 cm diameter.In addition to this Raft of 1.0 m is provided.
Framed structure with Core walls and columns and flat slabs is used.

KAFD Thumama Road Project.
Project Description: This is an Infrastructure project in KAFD. It costs more than 300 million Saudi riyals. This is a mixed use development project, comprising of 4 No's Double lane Highway with a Land Bridge, 3 no's Underpasses and 2 no's Tunnels & 1 Fly over with all buried utility services and landscaping which started on 01 Feb 2011. All Structural works are in the completing stage of the project.
