Scope of work and Responsibilities
• Utilize SPPA T-3000 DCS and PLC S7 to monitor safe operation and back trace process faults during plant operation.
• Execute and monitor O&M SOPs to make sure they are in line with OEM recommendations to run the plant safely and reliably, increasing asset uptime, lowering maintenance costs, and preventing unscheduled outages.
• Making sure that the O&M and LTSA contracts are implemented effectively to achieve operational excellence in support of the plant's commercial and safety objectives.
• Check and make audits for the availability of critical and single point failure spare parts and their replenishment.
• Coordinate and help to manage the visits of insurer, lenders, and auditors, and ensure to address all the recommendations in a timely manner.
• Participated in Project design review basic and detailed meetings, P&IDs, hook-up drawings, Loop Drawings, Instrument Data sheets, Instrument Lists, Primary & Secondary Drawings, SLDs, Control and Interlocking Diagrams, Protection & Logic Diagrams, and QA/QC documentation, enabling deep insights of construction and O&M Stage to meet timelines and optimum resource usage.
• Created Commissioning and Testing Procedures for each piece of equipment and system as per approved design and prudent engineering practices.
• Ensured Correct and Seamless Installation, Configuration, Commissioning, Testing, Identification and Solutions to Problems regarding Siemens SPPA-T3000 DCS software and hardware (software architecture, hardware components, The Profibus protocol, The Application Highway protocol, The Automation Highway protocol, Failsafe systems, Time synchronization systems, Win-TS / DMZ systems) to keep them functioning properly, maintaining in good working condition and meeting Project timeline.
• Ensured Correct and Seamless Installation, Configuration, Commissioning, Testing, Identification, and Solutions to Problems Regarding Two Siemens Gas Turbines (SGT5-8000H), One Siemens Steam Turbine (SST-5000), Three Siemens Generators (2ˣ2000H, 1ˣ3000W), Two Siemens Ultra Critical Triple Pressure Benson Natural Flow Type HRSG's, and Auxiliary Equipment to Ensure that everything is meeting project design requirement, OEM, and applicable standards.
• Ensured Correct Installation, Configuration, Commissioning, Testing, Identification and Solutions to Problems regarding Field Instruments, Positioners, Solenoid Valves, Servo Valves and Motorized/Pneumatic/Hydraulic Valves to keep them functioning properly and in good working condition.

Responsibilities in Operation & Maintenance Team as I&C Engineer:
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance and control activities on installed GTG (PG9351FA-DLN2.6+)/STG units/ Air compressors and associated accessories/auxiliaries.
Lead the safe operation, inspection & maintenance routines.
Work collaboratively with operation engineers and other internal staff.
Utilize Mark Vie toolbox/DCS Emerson (Ovation 3.5 Ver.) and PLC of Allen Bradley RS Logics 5000 & 500 to monitor and troubleshoot issues on GTGs & STG and auxiliary system (BOP).
Maintenance of instruments (including calibration and troubleshooting) for the process like Pressure, Level, Flow and Temperature (transmitters, switches) used at Gas Turbines, Steam Turbine, BOP and Gas regulation station.
Maintenance of Valves (pneumatic valves, servo valves, motorized, I/P, positioners)
Calibration of Analyzers used in chemical water treatment system (Silicon, Sodium and PH) of Hach
Calibration of Hazardous gas sensors using (Bentley Nevada 3500)
Calibration of Gas chromatograph (Emerson Model 700) used for Fuel Gas.
Knowledge of Calibration method of IGV, SRV, GCVs, as worked under GE TA’ supervision.
Control systems.
Utilization knowledge of hardware and software of DCS Mark Vie toolbox of General Electric like reading logics and forcing desired logics for Preventive maintenance and forced shut down maintenance.
DCS: Emerson Process Management (Ovation) troubleshooting for faults and maintenance purpose like forcing valves, changing hardware terminals, changing engineering set points values, configuration of new drop and I/O points, making ovation backups, troubleshooting, and reading logics for alarms and faults, downloading, rebooting, loading of changes made and all hardware maintenance.
Troubleshooting of PLC RSlogix5000 &500of Allen Bradley (AB) and Intouch software for HMI e.g. Downloading, Uploading, forcing of logics, and changing and reading of logics.
Job Description during Commissioning:
Took part in the Commissioning of Gas turbine, Steam Turbine, HRSGs and BOP including chemical water treatment system, Raw & Wastewater treatment systems.
Well knowledge of P&IDs, instrument standard association (ISA), Impulse lining and can trace faults done by the contractor and know how to discuss matters with client and contractor. Discussing Check Requests with Client and make remove any deficiency pointed by client with the help of sub-contractors.
Got Second Position in Project Exhibition competition held in NFC-IET Multan. Final Year Project Title: Smart Energy Metering system.
