Working on Managed Services Project as a Network Performance Engineer (Outsourced to Mobitel). Main responsibilities includes
• Day to day analysis on LTE NW performance by analyzing statistics
• Monitoring and reporting contractual KPIs (Core/RF) on Daily, weekly and Monthly basis
• Investigating and escalating all degradation in Core/RF KPIs to concern departments.
• Analyze NW/User Traffic trend and protocol trend to define the shaping policies to keep the STM Traffic balanced.
• Keeping track of Active and provisioned Users on LTE Network
• Analysis of Worst & Zero Traffic Cells for the LTE Network.
• CHR analysis on FMA for Drops, HO, Access
• Monitoring all major RF/Core KPIs and maintain them as per agreed contract

• Day to Day problem analysis and troubleshooting of Issues raised by customer
Worked on Zain Managed Services Project as a Performance Engineer (Outsourced to SNS). Main responsibilities includes,
• Performance analysis, monitoring & reporting for 2G/3G/LTE /EPC KPI’s
• Ensure a healthy NW performance by regular audits & sanity checks, using statistics from the NW
Analyzing Reports for performance anomalies/exceptions
• Investigating and escalating NW issues to concern department
• Producing NW Performance Ad hoc or Special Reports
• Provide recommendations for RF NW expansion & corrective maintenance
• Provide recommendations for NW performance improvement
• Check new sites performance/Single Site Verification/Clusters Verification
• Worst cells analysis & recommendations on daily basis to improve the QOS for both 2G & 3G cells

• Generate stats periodically on eNode B/Cell/BSC/RNC level, to monitor performance for any degradation and check sites availability for any sudden degradation

• Perform capacity check on all NW cells & prioritizing actions for highly utilized cells

I worked at VIVA Bahrain, as RAN Engineer on Managed Services project. Worked on RAN Network Elements of Huawei Technologies for installation, integration and commissioning for 2G/3G services. Main responsibilities includes,
• Operation and Maintenance of RNC’s, BSC’s, BTS, Node B on Huawei NMS iManager M2000
• Worked on BSC6900 for operation and maintenance of 2G, 3G services
• Integration and commissioning of BTS/NodeB sites using Huawei CM Express, LMT BTS 3900.
• Upgrade, optimize and maintenance of BSC/RNC and BTS/NodeB
• Participate in Software upgrade from RAN10 - RAN11.
• Configure radio parameters for 2G/3G sites.
• Configure environmental alarms on NodeB
• Implement different CR’s (change requests) suggested by RNP/ROT in approved down time.
• Monitoring the KPI/Performance of whole network (2G/3G)

BSS project of ZONG phase II with ALCATEL-LUCENT

• Installation and maintenance of BTS (A9100)
• Microwave link commissioning using Alcatel1320CT
• External alarm patching and testing.
• VSWR test using Site Master.
• Perform Provisioning acceptance for MWs/BTS with customer and Removals of discrepancies.
• Transmission media testing.
Worked as a Telecom engineer and done the following projects
BSS project of Ufone, Main Responsibilities
• BSS Operations & maintenance of BTS sites and transmission equipment.
• Installation, Testing and Commissioning of BTS and BSC.
• Perform antenna alignment and fine tuning.
• VSWR checking and rectification by using site master tool.
Drive Testing for HUAWEI-UFONE project. My responsibilities were:
• Drive Test for Pre launch Optimization Sites using TEMS 8.0.4
• Drives for on air sites for diagnosing quality issues.
• Resolving the Handover issues, Sector swapping, cross feeder, Hoping issues, Rx Quality, Overshooting and Overlapping issues.
• Do the Inter site, Intra site, GPRS and EDGE Test
• Site audit reports including Site configuration, Antenna Height, Azimuths and tilts
• Documented reports using MapInfo 8.5.
