NPI Program Management:
o Managing the cost BOM integrity, risk analysis, and communication to the Ops and the BU team
o Performing BOM risk analysis, identifying and validating risk parts driving resolution or developing mitigation plans for all X, 1, single and sole sourced rated components prior to FCS
o Preparing the supply chain and manages a ramp plan to ensure continuity of material supply and delivery between proto and early production
o Communicating the supply chain strategy to the BU and Ops teams
o Managing supplier performance and team expectations by proactively driving suppliers to meet or exceed committed performance by building relationships and trust with suppliers
o Managing and ensures a smooth product transition from NPI to Sustaining by utilizing the transition checklist and the Product Lifecycle Cost Plan prior to pilot and gaining agreement with Mfg. Ops and the PLPM on the final checklist
NPI Cost:
o Understanding all elements of HW product cost; validates the integrity of the costed BOM and forward costing; able to clearly articulate the main cost drivers, cost reduction, and cost avoidance activities
o Supporting Standard & Gross Margin management of products through value engineering, BOM optimization and cost savings and avoidance activities
Sourcing:
o Utilizing appropriate resources and influence for HW sourcing decisions to achieve optimal product cost and supply chain alignment
o Communicating HW commodity strategies to the BU and Ops teams
o Engage with key HW suppliers, GSM and Business Unit to ensure performance expectations are met and align with future sourcing decisions
o Conduct early engagement forums to align product technology and commodity strategies
Value Engineering:
o Working with VE Leads on new ideas for VE savings
o Support VE Leads to construct business plan and capture metrics in VEMT. Help and support VE Board presentation slides
o Once in-flight, closely monitor to ensure quarterly allocated VE budget is spent according to stated spending profile.
o Modify and track business plans: spending slips; track overall VE savings
o Once projects cut-in ensure savings have delivered on original promise
o Managed a team of Production Planner/RM Planner/Inventory controller and responsible for their individual and team development
o Procurement in charge for specialized raw materials ( Natural Rubber, Synthetic Rubber, Carbon black, Chemicals, Auxiliary Products, Metallic cords and Textile fabric rolls)
o Material Planning and Procurement for the Semi finish products.
o Inventory Management Control according to Min and Max based on group policies
o Coordinate and support for setting up system tools for Warehouse management
o Material support for testing machines and Production.
o Ensure the Inventory carrying cost is maintained
o Coordinate with ERP team for Oracle setup
o Chemical compliance and approval support - PESO License, DGFT License, Drug control India License
o Coordinating with logistics for clearance of dangerous/perishable goods - support customs with required documents from factory side - declarations
o In charge for 1000 tons Rubber Inventory and 100 tons Chemical inventory
o Specialized in support DGFT license for Solvent (Class A dangerous Chemical)
Procurement in charge for specialized raw materials ( Natural Rubber, Synthetic Rubber,
Carbon black, Chemicals, Auxiliary Products, Metallic cords and Textile fabric rolls)
Material Planning and Procurement for the Semi finish products.
Semi Finish Product support for Tire building shop includes supply and planning
Coordinate and support for setting up system tools for Warehouse management
Initial material support for testing machines
Coordinating with central departments like Safety, Logistics and Purchasing
Coordinating with Upstream supply chain Asia team in Bangkok for Demand Forecast and
supplier management
Coordinate with ERP team for Oracle setup
Support for cross related departments for first tire production

Material planning based on ROP and MRP concepts
Setting ROP value for the material part number in SAP based on 180-days historic
consumption & Cisco’s 180-days forecast.
Setting MRP value for the optional material part number in SAP based on the
forecast
Analyze ECN, BOM in PLM and approve ECN in PLM
Creating System document in PLM
Tracking deviation till the expiration date
Searching new vendors for localization in order to reduce shipping cost
To Ensure Availability of Material for Production by planning based upon demand.
Raising Purchase request and Purchase order to Vendor
Contact Window between Vendor and Production Plant
Negotiate with vendor for disposition of defective materials
Plan and execute orders to the suppliers
Supplier / Inventory Management
Good communication and negotiation skill
Coordinating with Quoting team for the price quotation
