Engineering & selection for the major mechanical equipment’s which includes but not limited to following:
Sizing and selection of piping based on process design criteria.
Pipe routing for minimum frictional losses and easy installation within the project specification.
Selection of penstocks according to the On-seat and Off-seat pressure.
Reviewing impact on cost & time of contract changes & advising PM.
Check & review of technical submittals & method statements prepared for the Consultant approval.
Assist the PM in the preparation of work procedures & Method statement.
Upon approval of material submittal from consultant, release the Purchase order in coordination with procurement department.
To ensure delivery of the material/Equipment as per project schedule.
Check & review of shop/layout drawings prepared for consultant approval. Also ensuring accuracy with coordination from the supplier as well as other departments such as civil, electrical & instrumentation. Reviewing, coordinating & finalizing field design changes.
Coordination of all construction works including sub-contractors.
Kahramaa water line installation, testing, disinfection & handing over.
Planning the work to be done and organize things so that project deadlines are met.
Supervision/Monitoring of Site team for Installation, testing & commissioning of the equipment’s as per approved drawings, method statement and project specifications requirements.
Coordination with the commercial department for variation claims; if any.
Overseeing preparation of O&M Manuals and as built drawings.
Implementation of safety procedures.
Sub- contractors’ invoices review & approvals.
Project: Al Bayt Stadium Project, Al Khor
Responsible for the preparation of the budget of the project, procurement & Site management for all the MEP & Infrastructure utility activities.
Resolve the project technical issues & preparation of shop drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting & infrastructure utilities (Chilled water, Drainage, water supply, Fire Fighting &Pump stations)
Assisting for hiring the MEP sub-contractors & finalizing their contract as per the work scope.
Preparation of operation & maintenance Manual & asset coding as per client requirement.
Attend the meetings with client & consultant

Responsible for preparation of Builders work, shop drawing for plumbing and HVAC

Chiller Plant
• Installation of Chiller units (York Titan) Capacity (32 Nos. x 5000 Ton= 1, 60, 000 Ton), Cooling tower 32 Nos. (GEA Polaces), Condenser water pump (ITT Bell & Gossett) AFV, Balancing valve, Four way valve, Cooling tower filtration unit (Veolia), Self-cleaning strainer, Dosing system, Air separator (Vessel), Expansion tanks (Amtrol), Primary water pump (315.5 /s @ 180 kpa), Secondary chilled water pump, Overhead crane(50 Ton), Black steel pipes welded (Dia 1400) for chilled water return & supply.
• Material takeoff for the construction of the mechanical work of the project.
• Checking the shop drawing with Design drawing, if any correction needed as per the site condition, informing the technical department.
• Making Site Construction Report (SCR) to consultant as per site conditions in the drawing.
• Responsible for QC inspection and consultant inspection.
• Co-coordinating with Civil, Electrical departments & Sub-contractors for co-ordination of work.
• Maintain the log for shop drawing, IR, Material submittal for follow up.
• Preparing the weekly Mechanical installation status & civil work status.
Generator plant:
• Installation of diesel generator (16 Nos. 4.4 MV) Make - Caterpillar, Radiator (GEA), Daily fuel tank 5000 liter (16 Nos.) Fuel overflow tank - 5000L (2 Nos.), underground fuel tank each 100, 000 liters (5 Nos.) Fuel transfer pumps (Ewon USA), overhead crane (10 Ton).
• Installation of cooling system, Compressed air starting system, Fuel supply & drain system, Lube oil supply & drain system, Combustion air, Exhaust air & breather unit system pipings.
Water Treatment Plant:
• Installation of hydro disc filter system for polishing of treated sewage effluent water.
• Installation of backwash pump, online analyzer, chlorine analyzer, chlorine dosing system, stabilized bromine dosing system, chemical pumps, turbid meter etc.
Central waste handling plant:
• Installation of blower pumps, waste cyclone, dust cyclone, waste compactor, overhead crane (10 ton), and monorail crane (1.6 Ton), carbon steel pipes.
• Reviewing the drawings, submittals & discussing the technical issues with Mari Matic, Finland.
Utility Tunnel :( From CUC to AL- HARAM) - 1.3km
• Installation of different size of pipes supports & Ventilation jet fans on every 200meters.
Project : Corniche -Infrastructure & Associated work
• Inspecting the installation of pumps(Grundfos, ITT lowara), Valves(Econosto), penstock, odour control unit, screen filter, pressure vessel, basket strainer, flexible joint, over head crane, Ac units, flow meters etc in pumping station.
• Supervising the MS pipe galvanizing and VJ coupling installation.
• Checking and Approving GIR, day work, material submittals, shop drawing, As-built drawing, cost estimates and work orders.
• Inspecting the installation of submersible pumps, float valve, float switch, filtration system, level sensor, auto back wash valve etc. in the water features.
• Review the method statement of mechanical works.
• Inspecting the site material storage & ensure it is stored as per the contract recommendations.
• Checking the hydraulic calculations of pumps.
• Inspecting the installation of fire pumps as per the NFPA rule.
• Preparing monthly QA/QC progress report & safety reports and submitting to the client.

• Sourcing & pricing of materials takeoff from the contract drawings within the limit of BOQ. Major Equipments are Vertical Turbine Pumps, Submersible Pumps, Jockey Pumps, Split Casing Pumps, Fire Fighting Pumps, Mechanical Valves, Hydraulic/Control valves, Filters, Instrumentations, Pressure vessel, Strainers, dosing system, HVAC Equipments etc.
• Price, delivery and payment terms & condition negotiations with the suppliers / manufacturers.
• Techno-economical evaluation of the materials to be procured.
• Preparation & follow up the materials delivery schedule.
• Responsible for the preparation of shop drawing, as-built drawings, material submittals, getting approvals from the consultants etc.
• Reporting to Project Manager & Company Manager.
• Site supervision of civil work in biogas plant and submitting report
