DESCRIPTION
• Meeting clients, Handling Tender and Job in Hand enquiries and submitting quotations, Finalising Business, Spare parts Quotations, Enquiring the manufacturer for quotations, Submittal preparation, Invoice Submissions till payment as Sales Engineer
• Maintenance of LV system (from MDB to Sockets) on sites for safe operation, Permit preparation, field service report preparation, managing a team of senior and junior technicians, planning preventive maintenance and attending corrective maintenance for complaint rectification, attending periodical client meetings as Facilities Management Engineer.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
SALES ENGINEER - UPS
• Meeting new clients and introducing the company profile for initiating the business.
• Receiving the enquiry with technical specifications, summarizing the technical requirements and BOQ, Submitting the quotations and keenly following up on the quotations submitted.
• Conducting necessary meetings after submitting the quotations, managing the quotations as per customer requirements and company standards, negotiating with customers thereby finalizing jobs.
• Placing order to the manufacturer, negotiating with the manufacturers for discounted offers and finalizing the Purchase Orders.
• Following up for the delivery to customer before the lead time and delivering the products on or before the lead time.
• Coordinating with the Service department/Service engineers for the Installation, Testing and commissioning and final handover of the system.
• Following up for the payments on time with the customers thereby the payment reaches us on time.
FACILITIES ENGINEER - LV SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
• Start of the day with meetings with the teams of Senior and Junior technicians assigning the daily task which is carried out from the previous day schedule.
• Following up on the tasks assigned to the technicians on a specific periodic basis in a day.
• Preparing formal records of the tasks completed in a report basis and filing for future reference.
• Attending compliant calls and rectifying them by deviating the teams from the normal task and making sure that they get back to the normal task after completing the complaint call.
• Periodically taping the teams to make sure the tasks are being completed as per the schedule.
• Meeting the client once in a week to make sure the satisfaction of the client.
On site Testing, Commissioning and Servicing the Low Voltage Electrical Products (VFD, UPS and Batteries, Active Harmonic Filters, Soft starters) in individual testing and various inspections.
Variable Frequency Drives
• Installing the VFD Inside MCC Panel
• Making necessary preliminary checks for safety operation of VFD
• Programming the VFD for New MCC Panel with/without Control wiring drawing.
• Testing the VFD by running the Motor in Various Speeds with BMS control.
• Testing the VFD in Both Hand and BMS mode
• Ensuring the Perfect Operation of VFD as per Panel, BMS and Mechanical requirement.
• Testing the Overall operation of VFD with Consultant witness.
• Report preparation, O&M Manual submission and official handing over of VFD systems
• Servicing the VFD for future faults and repairs.
• Replacing the spare parts if tested to be faulty.
• Training the site personals for basic operation of VFD.
Uninterruptible Power Supply
• Installing UPS, Batteries inside the designated area given by the contractor.
• Connecting the UPS and Batteries with recommended cables and cable sizes
• Programming the battery details and load details inside the UPS
• Testing the UPS for Proper operation and rectifying the faults if any at the time of commissioning
• Coupling the UPS and Batteries based on battery type, voltage, ampere hour range.
• Programming with or without External Maintenance Bypass
• Load testing of the UPS and Batteries with Load bank and Site load.
• Testing the overall operation of UPS with consultant witness.
• Report preparation, O&M manual submission and official handover of UPS
• Servicing the UPS on any service call
• Replacing the UPS spare parts on account of tested faulty
• Training the site representatives for proper operation, discharge terms and Internal and external bypassing methods.
• Conducting annual maintenances for UPS and Batteries.
Active Harmonic Filters
• Recording the Harmonics on the MDB using Power Quality Analyzer.
• Calculating the THD with the recorded parameters and finding the Maximum Harmonics on the system.
• Selecting the appropriate Filter after acquiring the calculation result
• Conducting preliminary checks before switching ON the filter
• Programing the Filter as per the contractor’s data - PCC or Load side, CT Ratio, CT burden Level and more.
• Testing the Filter by Operating the filter.
• Recording the Reduced Harmonics data in the Power Quality Analyzer and preparing the comparison report.
• Preparing the Commissioning report and O&M manual for Active Harmonic Filters.
• Training the site persons for basic operation of filters
• Servicing the filters and repairing if necessary
• Maintaining the filters on Annual Maintenance Contract.
Soft Starters
• Installing Soft starters inside the Switchgear panel and connecting the Control wiring as per the panel and contractor requirements.
• Programming the Soft Starters as per the customer, BMS and Panel requirement
• Testing the Overall Operation of the Soft starter - Hand and Auto
• Witnessing the Proper Operation to the Consultant
• Report preparation, Manual submission and official handover of soft starters
• Servicing and Maintenance of Softstarters.
