Linux Administration
• Providing Support to the infrastructure and maintenance project for Linux Systems.
• Strong technical background in operating system Redhat, CentOS SUSE and Ubuntu,
system administration and performance monitoring.

• Basic configuration of MySQL server and taking the database backups.
• Setting up file, folder permission using by ACL, SUID, GUID and Sticky bit and SETFACL.
• Securing Linux servers using IPTABLES and SELinux.
• Experience on Nessus Vulnerability scanner.

AIX Unix

• RHEL file system crash recovery and troubleshooting skill on Kernel panic issue
• KDUMP configurations for further troubleshooting.
• Managing with Single NIC for multiple networks.
• Familiar with NTP, NFS, SAMBA, Fdisk, Parted, FTP, SSH SCP, SFTP, Rsync
• Creating Users, Group and customizing its home directory.
• Assigning the permission on User, Files and Group level.
• Storage allocation and RHEL native Multipath and RDAC configuration.
• Installation configuration for Syslog and Nagios monitoring tools.
• Skill on iptables, selinux and looking for application related port issues
• Logging a case with RHEL and tracking the same till the closure.
FortiGate firewall.
• Work Experience with FortiGate 200D, 100D, 90D, 60C, 20C Firewalls
• SSL VPN configuration and maintenance and trouble shootings.
• Site to Site VPN with Cisco and Fortigate and trouble shootings.
• Ether-channel/LACP configurations and good knowledge on switch interconnectivity.
• Good knowledge on HSRP/VRRP configuration with interface/Port-Channel and
preempt, redundancy.
