As Design & Estimation Engineer:
• Project engineering, Management, Design, Estimation, Coordination and Implementation of integrated system in Security, SCS & LV System
• Value engineer on the Project at Estimation, Tendering and Negotiation phases to maximize project win ratio
• Coordinating with Clients/Contractors/Consultants/Service providers to get detailed information related with the Project to develop a design for LV System
• Study of Architectural Drawings and specifications liaising with client & service
• Review and generate Bill of Quantity against system drawings to ensure alignment and to identify materials types & quantities and prepare equipment lists and rough drawings for cost estimation
• Prepare variation orders and get it approved from Clients & Consultants
• Vast knowledge of Cat6, Fiber (FTTT/FTTH), DU/Etisalat & SIRA requirement
• Execution of project activities such as drawings, submittals, procurement, follow-ups, final NOC's for building network, DPS Authority approvals etc.
As Project Engineer:
• Project planning & execution according to client’s requirements, submission of weekly projects plan, manpower report, site progress report etc.
• Preparation & submission of project documents such as Material submittal, Sample submittal, Method Statement, RFI, Material Inspection Report, Work Inspection Report, Monthly Payment Application & Variation documents etc.
• Tracking and monitoring of site integration/Implementation by attending meeting with Client, Consultant, Vendors and other sub‐contractors for on time project/design delivery
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Reviewing of weekly progress of works and forwarding the same to the Client/Project Manager
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on-site; preparing reports as required
• Design and installation of containment like Cable tray, trunking and GI & PVC conduits
• Thorough knowledge in cabinet, active & passive device installation, cable laying, termination, testing & labelling
• Experienced in Fluke Testing (Fluke DSX 5000, 8000) and OTDR Testing
• Ensuring that the redline drawings, Schematic & As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals and related documentation is prepared, reviewed, submitted and approved in a timely manner, in line with the contract
• Project handing over with training, completion certificates and test reports
• Design, installation and configuration of Surveillance CCTV (AXIS, PELCO, SAMSUNG, HIK VISION, CP PLUS & PROLINE UK) and ANPR (CANDID) system with loop cutting, cabling & termination
• Installing and configuring Video Management Software to control cameras, NVR/DVR/Access Switch configura-tion (VLAN) and integration of CCTV system with access control system for the pop-up of cameras
• Design, installation, testing and commissioning of access controllers, EMLs, readers (SUPREMA & ZKTeco), pushbuttons, break glasses and door contact
• Design, setting up and configuring Gate Barriers (BFT, FAAC & CAME)
• Design, installation, testing and commissioning of SMATV (ALCAD, TELEVES & TRIAX) & INTERCOM (ALCAD & COMELIT) System
• Design, installation, testing and commissioning of structured cabling & Local Area Network
• Equal competency in Installation, Configuration, Trouble Shooting & Service Support of IT Network for Data/Voice/Video/Internet Access (Routers, Switches) etc
