• Review, analyze and process the received Material Master Creation Application for KJO Electrical material group materials in the MDRM system.
• Perform physical check/data of stock materials for proper identification & spec enhancement
• Ensure all materials have a correct technical description before transferring to SAP, so that buyers can identify the item accurately and procure it without delay.
• Identifying the slow-moving materials from SAP system and mark obsolete in order to remove the materials from inventory.
• Create Parent equipment (ZBOM) for the spare parts and link the spare parts to the ZBOM number in SAP.
• Review, evaluation and conversion of Planned Order & Order Reservations into PR.
• Coordinate/expedite with Purchasing Division for any critical/urgently needed materials.
• Prepare monthly consolidated activity, statistical and highlights report of CIS Division.
• Coordinate, evaluate and implement action plan for slow moving materials and other control/inventory, rationalization initiatives.
• Conduct market Survey for Stock Materials to obtain latest Price for budgetary purpose.
• Ensure Direct Purchase Requisitions submitted by the proponent department are approved and has secured budget
• Support Purchasing Division to bundle the Purchase Requisitions/ RFQ based on Manufacturer and Material groups.
• Provide relevant information and data for Internal and external audits; track implementation of audit recommendations.
• Developed new functionalities and work flow in MDRM to suit KJO needs.
• Closely worked with KJO ITD team to finalize the ERP parameters of Items such as Material Types, Material groups, UOM etc.
• Provided extensive MDRM software training to all users from different proponent departments.
• Perform routine duties and responsibilities of other Material Engineer &Material Analyst during absence/leave
• MDRM (MASTER DATA RECORD MANAGER) is cataloguing software used to catalogue Materials and Services.
• Performed detailed analysis on design and Functionalities of software to suit proposed system based on SABIC requirements.
• Studied business rule and work flow from SABIC side and interacted with software designers to customize the software.
• Implemented the Procedures for the P.O Description change functionality based on the manufacturers and material Details entered by the user.
• Involved in migration of data from old RAMIS system to the new MDRM system.
• Involved in preparation and plan of training SABIC employees to use MDRM application.
• Member of a team which is Responsible for stocking and inventorying of materials.
• Checking current stock status during the monthly cycle count.
• Liaising with inventory control to determine appropriate minimum/maximum levels of stock.
