Reviews, evaluates and approve design submissions, drawings, calculations, material submissions, method statements and documents for accuracy and contractual compliance with the applied standards and specifications.
Verifies the Requirements, applicable codes and engineering standard practices are being met and complied with by the contractor.
Resolves issues or problems concerning conflicting design requirements, specifications and/or difficult interface/coordination requirements.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports and coordinate the work with contractor related staff.
Coordinate with Other Trades to ensure work is executed on a timely manner according to the approved coordinated drawings and to resolve any clashes and Conflicts.
Professional presentation and reporting to higher management.
Covering work activities related to Power (MV & LV), ICT & Mechanical Equipments including: Survey, study, construction process supervision, scheduling of materials; Engineering/technical works, design review, reviewing shop drawings, approving materials; Installations; Materials Inspection, Testing & commissioning; Preparing evaluation and progress reports, final acceptance and completions/analysis reports; In addition to reviewing and evaluating all constructed quantities /materials on site as well as invoices.
1. Inspection of all requested Electrical work from contractor as per approved drawing and specification.
2. Making Nonconformance report for improper installation in building.
3. Coordination with mechanical engineers, Architecture and Civil engineers about onsite technical issues.
4. Reviewing of all shop drawing, as built drawings and materials inspection as per Specification and Electrical engineering codes.
1. Installation of all electrical building equipment and low current devices (Fire alarms, CCTV, public address and access control system etc). 2. Provide technical assistance in all low voltage (lighting and small power), Medium voltage (RMU, Transformer and MDP’S) installation.
3. Co-ordination with mechanical engineers for all technical issues on site.
4. Supervision and handling of all electricians and reviewing all electrical installation.
Responsibility:
Operation and maintenance of Generators and transformers in power house.
Implementation of SCADA system at Tarbela Power station.
Operation and maintenance of Turbine governor system.
Maintenance of Switch yard.
