• Building and sustaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers within and assigned sales territory.
• Traveling within and assigned sales territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers.
• Continually meeting or exceeding sales targets by selling company products to new and existing customers.
• Preparing minutes of meeting report for the points discussed with customer and discuss with After Sales Manager to proceed further.
• Checking with YTD report for the parts sold to the customers and plan the sales approach accordingly.
• Attending trainings conducted by manufacturer for the parts department activities.
• Educate customers on how products or services can benefits them financially and professionally.
• Preparing stock orders for the fleet customers.
• Follow-up with warehouse team for the delivery of parts on time.
• Developing and implementing an effective sales strategy to drive sales.
• Maintaining an accurate record of all leads, customer accounts and sales.
• Ensure all necessary parts are stocked and ready for sale
• Order new parts from catalog as needed.
• Collaborating with the marketing department to expand brand presence through the creation of suitable marketing materials.
• Researching competitor products and pricing as well as market conditions.
• Keeping abreast of the latest industry developments by attending meetings, training and industry events.
• Strategically negotiating with potential and existing customers to close sales.
• Follow up for the payments with the credit customers.
• To assist in identifying parts as per vehicles /customer requirement using EPC.
• Procurement of parts by placing periodically orders as per the policy guidelines.
• Order follow-up, Lead time control, Landed cost factor control.
• Correspondence on Order, Email Order or Online order.
• To order for New model parts based on the population and the policy guidelines.
• To periodically update the principal price as and when received from principals.
• To quote/ invoice and coordinate for dispatch of parts to exports & GCC countries as per policy guidelines
• Responsible for accident vehicle to give estimate for body, suspensions and engine and gear parts.
• To negotiate dealing price, offer discount as per policy and finalize the deal.
• To attend the telephone enquiry, record the same &follow up on quotations.
• To get advance, promise maintain delivery dates for items requested by the customer.
• To record loss of sales for parts requested and not available by customer and increase the parts availability.
• To find the customer details, vehicles details and co-ordinate customer data base update.
• Responsible for retaining the existing customers as well as securing new customers.
• To arrange for picking up of parts and deliver parts personally.
• To promote sales on oil, tire and other company products.
• Counter sales of Mercedes Benz Truck spare parts.
• Identify spare parts as per vehicle/customer requirements using EPC.
• To negotiate selling price, offer discount as per policy and finalize the deal.
• To record loss of sales for parts requested and not available by customers and increase parts availability.
• To check & return customer sold parts as per policy.
• Responsible for stock taking in system for spare parts received.
• Maintaining cleanliness and professional appearance of the work area and stockroom.
