Job Description

• To implement departmental and IMS procedures in the department and maintain follow-ups. Prepare and review SOPS, reports, checklist, JD’s, process flow etc. which are required to maintain the IMS in the department.
• To monitor the plant from field and DCS, to ensure the safe Operation and maintain product Specification as per quality standards.
• Operation of NHT Unit, LPG Separation Unit Recovery plant, LPG Merox Sweetening, Reformate Processing and Naphtha Sweetening through Merox.
• Plant startup, shutdown and emergencies handling and execution as per standard operating procedures.
• Operation of plant Utilities including Instrument air, Water treatment and Boiler.
• Prepared daily performance summary and recommend corrective action to deal with abnormalities.
• Verifying operating logs to ensure records are accurate.
• Ensure minimum disruption to stable operation by detecting plant and equipment problems and implementing counter measures after trouble shooting.

• Coordination with Maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance activities are conducted with the least disruption to production.

• Participate in preparation of operating plan for crude receipt, storage and finished product dispatches and administrative control of the oil movement & supply department
• Acting as an interface among Operation, Laboratory, Maintenance, Instrument, & Electrical departments of the company. Provided proactive day-to-day support to production and maintenance teams with respect to optimum, efficient and operation.
• To understand & improve process of Loading / Unloading of Crude Oil, Furnace Oil, HSD Oil, Motor Gasoline, Naphtha & Gauging, Calculation & Documentation.
• Supervise effective operation at optimum cost and develop objective for through put, stock loss & gain, by using calibration charts and ASTM table and monitoring the transit & evaporation losses within the limits.
• To Handle Crude Receipt Operation through offshore S.P.M (Single Point Mooring) Facility.
• To handle the Crude Oil Storage & feed charging to CDU (Crude Distillation Unit) Plant.
• Handling of Local Crude, Condensate decanting, through T/Ls bay facility.
• Intermediate product storage & charge to process units (Light Naphtha, Heavy Naphtha, Reformate and Sweet / Sour Naphtha).
• LPG receiving from LPG Merox unit in LPG storage bullets & feeding to fuel gas system.
• Preparation of Chemicals Injected in to different Petroleum products.
• Generate both (Daily Pump Report and monthly) based Stock & Ullage Reports.
Erection, Commissioning & pre-Commissioning Activities:

• Participate in Measure Turn Around-2010 & 2014 Activities
• Documentation Review
• P&ID Review & line markup
• Awareness of Commissioning & operation of crude oil decantation Pipeline through SPM (Single point Moring) Facility.
• Erection & Commissioning of HSD Export pipeline.
• Commissioning of New LPG Bullets
• Pigging, Air Blowing, Hydro Testing
• Process and instrument documentation.
